Awesome pedal for synths
This pedal has a ton of effects, and it's fairly intuitive to use. I have it hooked up to my Arturia MicroFreak, and it makes the sound so much better. The only thing I would say could be improved is the icons for the buttons. What's wrong with just having arrows? The buttons to go left, right, up and down through menus all have very convoluted icons that make it a bit difficult to figure out what everything does at first. Amazing sound though, so it's worth it once you figure it all out.

Great Effects Pedal from a Guy who never really used one.
I just purchased this Zoom MultiStomp Effect Box to enhance the dry sounds from my Arturia MicroFreak Synth. The MicroFreak is quite an amazing synthesizer, with endless sonic possibilities but it lacks ANY Effects, not even a simple Chorus. Although I've dabbled with Guitar and Bass my whole life I am not a "real" player on those instruments (I'm an old Drummer) so I was never into Effects Pedals. I just used whatever effects that were built into my amps, oh yeah I did have a cheap Wah Wah Pedal back in 1969. Someone recommended this Zoom MultiStomp. I must admit it is quite impressive and full of effects for such a low price. I also just found out that there is a Free Application called Zoom Effect Manager, available for MAC and PC's that includes and lets you install Effects onto this Pedal from all of the other Zoom Effect Boxes/Pedals. Talk about a powerhouse of Effects from one small box. So aside from just using it for my MicroFreak, I am now thinking of incorporating this little magic Effects Box into my Tascam Model 12 Mixer/Recorder workflow. Channels 1 & 2 have "insert" jacks. I know I can utilize these with a "Y cable" between the Model 12 and the Zoom Box. Using the Y, one for in and one for out on the Zoom, the other single end of the cable carries both the send and return signal back to the Tascam Insert Jack on Channels 1 & 2 (both are mono, unbalanced.) This would give me a slew of extra Effects for my Analog Synthesizers in addition to what the Tascam Model already offers. Anyway very happy wirth this powerful effects box!

the ultimate tool!
been after this pedal for a while now, after all my "YouTube research" and it's deeply satisfying to have it. stereo in and out, great if you play keys and want some extra spice. i use it with my tongue drum and those reverbs, delays and mods... the possibilities are endless. i was already invested in the mg50 until I found the hack of the 1.1.0 effects manager and now i got everything i need to gig with both guitar and bass with pre amps, distortions, cabs and more. the hack is real and i successfully modded both the mg50 and this one. obviously a digital sound, yet, the quality and versatility is a total, blindfold . yes. go for it. deeply satisfactory, endless hours of toying with patches and creating atmospheres. i dont see any cons.

Alles Top macht das was es soll, sehr empfehlenswert auch für synthis
Hauptsächlich zum modulieren meines Basses und als Ergänzung zu einen Effektboard, ist aber auch andersweitig sehr nützlich
