Deshedding Tool & Dematting Comb – Grooming Brushes for Dogs, Cats, Horses – Reduce Shedding and Remove Knots, Mats and Loose Undercoat, Large Size

Bought this a few months ago for my longer haired cats that are always shedding and one especially is prone to tangles and knots. I hated having to get the scissors out to cut the tangles off as it left patches in her hair so bought this set after reading reviews. I found that they are amazing and actually do the job and remove loads of hair ready to shed, the comb for the tangles is brilliant and able to tease out the clump of fur, but be careful you don’t tug too much as it can be painful for the cat. I also have an elderly short coat lady that seems not to be able to groom all the areas on her body any more and I was shocked just how much dead fur was under the top coat and some clumps too. I had to be especially gentle with her as she has no extra muscle or fat but her coat was much better and smoother after. Well worth the price , a great piece of kit

Fantastic grooming set! 🐾 Both the deshedding tool and dematting comb work perfectly on thick double coats like my Chow Chow and Japanese Akita Inu. They remove loose fur effortlessly and leave the coat soft and tidy. Great quality, easy to clean, and comfortable to hold. Highly recommended for heavy-shedding breeds!

Full disclosure my dogs fur isn't matted as I brush her every other day, however, she is a Golden Retriever with very thick long fur around her neck, chest and pants. This comb was amazing it has removed all tangles and thinned out the fur a great deal after just one use, its good quality and pretty sharp. Easy to use and hold. The rate or hair removal is unbelievable! The only suggestion I can make is that if you have a very furry dog like A goldie, shepherd or husky, use it outside. Don't make my mistake and "give it a go" in the living room, My front room looks like the scene in Gremlins when he spills water over the Mugwae lol fur balls everywhere!! I'm not convinced another dog didnt drop out or her coat and explode at one point ;)

I have a long haired cat and she's begun to moult and get tangles. She doesn't like this detangler, but I think that partly due to my inexpert handling if it! It works very well. I'm pleased with my purchase. It removes fur very well. Good weight and quality

Does the job

Really impressed with this comb. Our cat has A LOT of fur, and it is a brilliant tool for de-tatting him. Very easy to use, without hurting our boy. He looks very well groomed after. Would definitely recommend.

Both work great. My dogs look so good after using.

My fur babies love it when I come them with these. It's so much easier to use on fur babies with thick hair or hair that has an under-coating of fur. It prevents a lot of shedding if used regularly. Would recommend for cats or dogs.

Not at all good product. Not very useful to brush the coat properly.

I have a long haired GSD and this is the only brush that I have found that gets deep into his coat and grabs all that old hair. I had tried other options but they were not as effective.
