Fast for CUDA, tons of memory, can be used as a secondary "compute-only" card
I run a version of Linux and while I love my AMD card, and despite having very good GPU compute benchmarks, it is a pain to get ROCM working and many CUDA programs do not support it directly or indirectly. I'm stuck using either OpenCL or PyTorch for ROCM. SO, I paid a bit to get this Nvidia card. I use it in parallel with my AMD card, where the AMD card is plugged into the monitor and it runs 2d and games, and the Nvidia card sits idle much of the time. However, any time I need to run any CUDA code, it's very easy to do so. This is working very well for almost everything. The only issue is that Davinci Resolve is a bit finicky about it until you change some things. Also, for such setup you need a modern, beefy PSU with two full PCI-E/GPU power connectors. So my review isn't really about playing games. For CUDA, this card is quite fast and it has a ton of memory, which is very useful for certain code. Some stuff I've used actually uses 8-10GB of memory, so the 12GB is perfect for me. The TDP is high at 170W but it never runs full-speed at the same time as my AMD GPU so it's fine. It's either/or. The specs are CUDA Cores: 3,584, RT Cores: 28, Tensor Cores: 112. On paper it's not the "fastest" Nvidia card in this class (has a bit fewer cores than some), but it has more memory than some comparably-priced cards which makes it overall more useful, to me anyway. When certain compute loads (like Sammieroto) are running on my CPU, they can take over an hour. On my RDNA2 AMD card, they took maybe 10 minutes (again, Pytorch ROCM isn't quite "there" yet). On this card, they take maybe 3-5 minutes or something. It's pretty amazing.

Smooth, Quiet, and Powerful – A Midrange GPU That Delivers
Smooth, Quiet, and Powerful – A Midrange GPU That Delivers The MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 has been a rock-solid performer in my build. Installation was simple—slid right into the PCIe slot, and the included software made dialing in fan curves and performance profiles straightforward. I appreciate MSI’s Twin Fan design; the card runs remarkably cool even under load, and the fans stay whisper quiet during everyday use. Gaming performance is what really shines here. At 1080p, everything I’ve thrown at it runs flawlessly, and even at 1440p, it handles modern AAA titles with smooth frame rates when settings are balanced. The 12GB of VRAM gives some future-proofing, especially for newer games that are more memory hungry. Creatively, it’s also been useful—Adobe apps and 3D modeling software benefit from the extra horsepower. Build quality feels premium with a sturdy shroud and backplate, and despite being a larger card, it fit in my mid-tower case without issues. One thing to keep in mind is power: you’ll want at least a solid 550–600W PSU to support it comfortably. Bottom line: This RTX 3060 from MSI hits the sweet spot between price and performance. It’s quiet, efficient, and capable of handling both gaming and creative workloads with ease, making it a great choice for anyone upgrading from an older card.

Highly satisfactory gaming performance while staying affordable for lower PC build budgets.
I wanted a graphics card for newer games but am on a budget. Really satisfied with the specs and performance of this card with my game library. Didn't see need to buy higher end card. In time all the older cards go down in price as new cards are released. I didn't really need to have all the latest bells and whistles. Runs quiet.

Great Value
As a user who frequently relies on dual monitors for task processing, the RTX 3060 graphics card has thoroughly exceeded my work requirements. First and foremost, its multitasking functionality and stability are nothing short of impeccable. Equipped with one HDMI and three DisplayPort outputs, the card effortlessly drives my two displays. What truly stands out is its exceptional stability, even under prolonged heavy loads, whether I'm running multiple large applications simultaneously, dragging windows across screens, or playing videos, the system remains completely free from stuttering, screen blackouts, or driver crashes. This reliability is a significant boost to productivity. The graphic quality and display performance are equally satisfying. For my core tasks, including UI design, coding, and routine video editing the RTX 3060 delivers sharp, clear rendering with accurate color reproduction. When previewing video edits or viewing high resolution images on the secondary monitor, the output remains smooth and free from motion blur. In terms of aesthetics and compatibility, it also hits the mark. Its compact form factor allows easy integration into most standard PC cases without any installation issues.

most popular gpu for a reason
It used to be the most used gpu on steam for a while, righfully so! It runs games very well, records, streams, well too. It is a very well rounded gpu. The noise is almost never noticeable compared to case fans / cpu cooler 👍 I got this gpu to do multiple tasks at the same time (more than 8gb vram) and it does just that. On Overwatch 2 I can have side applications open, record (1080p), while playing at 1440p, medium settings around 270fps! On a newer title; Borderlands 4, it can run 1440p, low, dlss, balanced, with 45-60fps. Without creating high or really even noticeable input lag. Amazing for 1080p, still works for me on 1440p!

Not Bad, Not Bad at All...
Good quality card, had it for about 2 years now still no issues, no stability problems and since it's a dual fan no issues trying to fit it in most computer cases. Stays cool and quiet, would buy again for a Mid Build Project.

Ho comprato questa scheda video per la mia prima Building, associata con un processore ryzen 5 5600G e 16GB di RAM DDR4 3600MHz. Devo dire che mi trovo benissimo, posso giocare a ciò che voglio con la massima qualità, al momento ho giocato a God of war, fortnite, The forest, Sons of the forest, Skyrim, Way of the Hunter e Minecraft con alcune shaders molto pesanti.
