Very big I doubt there is anything about boats left out
I'm gonna start working with boats next year and I know no more about boats than the usual person. This books is almost a thousand pages, it covers pretty much everything you can image and more. My boss who works in the boat industry told me to get this one cuz apparently it's the GOAT of boat books.

The boaters bible.
It’s reputation stands as “the boaters bible”. Chapman belongs in every domesticated sailor’s library. Good seamanship and SAFETY should be a part of every person in charge of a sailing/motor vessel. Rules of the nautical Road and boat handling are as important to know on the water as driving a car on a highway. As a former fully rated sailor myself, I keep a latest copy of Chapmans on hand. Take my word for it, if you are looking for an all in one reference to clarify questions about boating, this is the source of information to start with.

Very large reference book
This book has all the basics of boating and marine life seamanship granted it is large and could be a coffee table piece or a textbook size that fits your library again if you’re limited in space don’t buy, but if you’re looking to have a reference book that’s over 500 pages Definitely worth having on the shelf

An excellent introduction to boating
I bought this latest edition for my son who is getting his first boat. I used an earlier edition myself to study for my first Coast Guard Captain license.
