I always thought that natural, compostable sponges would be much less effective than plastic ones. But these are great! Even better, dare I say. They hold the washing up liquid much more efficiently, so one small squirt lasts a lot longer. They are soft, squeezable, scratch-free, super easy to use. I love them! I wish they'd sell these in every supermarket - why would anyone use plastic sponges when these exist??

these “sponges” are the best. six months ago i tried one sponge that my friend gave me and it’s still in use and just as effective as it was when new - and nowhere near breaking down. i would have gone through more than two plastic non-abrasive scouring “sponges” (no sponges are harmed) in this time, with the scourer coming away from the “sponge”, which starts to fall apart after a couple of months. this product’s cost is very reasonable considering how long each “sponge” lasts - i fully expect my first “sponge” to last 12 months of washing up, if not longer. this six pack will last over six years - and it’s ECOLOGICALLY FRIENDLY!!! no plastic, no silicone, no sponges. get some: you won’t regret it.

I've been trying to reduce the amount of plastic I purchase over the last year and as those terrible supermarket scouring sponges break down into micro-plastics, I bought these hoping for a great alernative.My husband is less eco-conscious and has a VERY low opinion of most of the eco-friendly options on the market, in comparison to their plastic-containing alternatives, so I introduced him to them pretty much expecting complaints. (Just to clarify so I'm not bad-mouthing him on the internet, he does care about the environment, he just doesn't like wasting money on products that don't work, and feels most eco-friendly options don't work as well).He wasn't overly impressed when I showed them to him but he agreed to give them a try anyway. Well, we're now a good few weeks down the line and he's admitted they're really good! They might not stay intact as well as the plastic-containing sponges but he said they get the dirt and grime off brilliantly, they're super-absorbent and are lasting far better than he could have imagined. In all, he's told me I can keep buying these instead of the grim supermarket ones.And since his opinion has been changed by these sponges, I reckon anyone's could be! If you're debating it, give them a try. Better for the environment and they work really well. You can thank me later. ;0)

Really like this product. Am happy with packaging which is eco friendly and recyclable and the sponges themselves being biodegradable AND does a great job at cleaning those dishes and like advertised does not scratch the pots and pans. Great product

I think this is as good as it gets eco-wise! The sponge holds water, is very effective cleaning, can be rinsed and kept clean, does not scratch, does not smell. After several weeks of use, you can expect to see it breaking down a little (it is to be expected!) That being said, one can last this family between 3 and 4 weeks, depending on the excess of use. I have this on subscribe and save. Everything goes into my compost bin. I'll never go back to ordinary sponges.

Good sponges, eco friendly

I am on my 4th pack of these sponges. The first two were perfect, each sponge worked for a long time. Starting with the 3rd pack, every sponge starts coming apart quickly and the scoring pad falls off. I thought it was a glitch and bought again, but the sponges in the 4th pack disintegrate quickly as well. Perhaps something has changed in the manufacturing process but the quality got worse.

Having used super market sponges all my life, these took some getting used to. The texture and shape are quite different, but I’m so glad I made the switch. The reduction in plastic content is amazing. My son used to play with a new sponge and leave a trail of flakes behind, but this doesn’t happen anymore.They are definitely not as durable as supermarket sponges, but if you’re looking to reduce the plastic content they’re the way to go.

Buscaba algo orgánico, para poder dejar de utilizar las esponjas convencionales, llenas de micro plásticos. Este producto es fabuloso, las esponjas duran mucho, arrastran muy bien los residuos de la vajilla siendo al mismo tiempo cuidadoso, no raya. Estoy realmente encantada, a partir de ahora serán las únicas esponjas que utilizaré. Además muy buena relación calidad precio. Las recomiendo realmente por su funcionalidad además cuida el medio ambiente.

La esponja biodegradable me ha sorprendido bastante: al principio es compacta, pero en cuanto la usas se vuelve manejable. No raya las superficies y limpia muy bien. Tras un par de semanas de uso sigue prácticamente igual, solo ha perdido alguna hebra, pero nada importante. En general, buena opción y además más sostenible.

am slowly replacing everything in my household with natural products. I never even thought of changing the sponges I use until one day I caught blue dye leaching out of my conventional Scotch-Brite sponges onto my sink. From there I discovered eplanita sponges which have become a new staple product in my kitchen. These sponges work great functionally and last long. I was surprised to find out that they even come in fully sustainable packaging which makes me even more proud to use this product. Honestly, I don't write reviews often, but it's hard to find sustainable replacements for products that already work well. But I am incredibly impressed with this product from all angles. I recommend this product to anyone committed to a healthy lifestyle and healthy planet.

Looks like a normal washing skrubb but this one is better for the nature works well donesnt seem to smell any bad so far

Per cercare di inquinare meno, prima di questa spugna avevo provato quelle in silicone, una delusione perché perdono pezzettini ad ogni lavaggio, in particolare con le posate, risultato che si inquina forse di più. Queste sono state una rivelazione, secondo me sono meglio di quelle classiche, non solo non perdono pezzeddi di plastica ed anzi, le trovo più resistenti, ma la parte più abrasiva ha il giusto livello di ruvidezza, in pratica non vi danneggia le padelle antiaderenti come farebbe una classica spugna. La sto usando da una settimana o poco più e mi ci trovo benissimo, ogni tanto possono perdere qualche filamento dalla zona abrasiva ma nulla di che ed inoltre non si tratta di materiale inquinante. Sono morbide e si adattano benissimo alle forse delle posate, nulla di tanto digido da renderne difficoltoso l'uso. Le consiglio vivamente. Sulla durata non posso ancora esprimermi ma a me sembrano resistenti e durature, se non sarà così aggiornerò la recensione.
