FreudDS1203CP3 Diablo 12" Carbide Pruning Reciprocating Blade (3 Pack)

This blade is a good value when you can find it on sale ($6-$7ea); otherwise, they're kind of pricey. It truly cuts quickly through branches and roots and it lasts a long time. I've been using it to cut tree roots and run it into the dirt with no problems. The dirt doesn't seem to dull it out. So far, I've gone through two blades and I'm half way through my job of cutting out a 20" tree trunk root ball and root system. I would definitely buy more, even pay the higher price if I need them.

For what I am using these blades for, they work very well. I bought the 9" blades first and I have been cutting with them for months. I cut branches of all diameters and trees as well. I cut the roots of trees, plunging the blade down into the ground (mind you there are very few stones). I bought the 12" blades to cut bigger wood. I use these blades where I don't want to risk damaging my chain saw bar/ chain

These are amazing blades. I used these to cut and trim branches and these cut like butter. They are so sharp and stay sharp for so long! Way better than other blades I have used. They easily cut branches as thick as 6-8 inches wide. I also used this blade to cut a tree that had fallen down into smaller chunks for disposal. Highly recommended and worth every cent.

When you’re dealing with a big stump, this blade lasts the longest and cuts the fastest. I have tried several different pruning blades, and nothing compares to this one. So it’s highly recommended.
