Pünktlich angekommen hat mich die Story gleich gepackt, sodass ich das ganze Buch innerhalb von 4 Tagen durch hatte (ich lese relativ langsam). Bin definitiv gespannt den nächsten Teil zu lesen ^ ^ --- Arriving on time, the story instantly caught me, leading me to binge-read it within 4 days (i read relatively slowly). Definitely gonna get the next part soon ^ ^

I finished the book in about 2 days which is record speed for me 😭 I highly recommend it though it’s not really “spicy”. It’s till engines to lovers and a 1 bed trope. I recommend looking at Booktok for more details but I thoroughly enjoyed the book!

Book arrived in great condition. It is a really pretty edition with light blue painted edges that allude the books theme with the skeleton, swords and crowns. This is a fun quick pirate read. I love the idea of the author of creating a strong and resourceful woman that has a secret that brings her even closer to the sea compared to a normal pirate. I like Alosa’s abilities and how she use them to get away from trouble and getting what she wants, her fears and limitations also make her feel more relatable and real for me (I can’t wait to see what she will do with her abilities in the next book) I also loved the bickering between Alosa and Riden and the development of their relationship from enemies to friends that understand a little more about each other as they interact, I’m excited to see how their relationship will evolve as the story progresses. Over all is a enjoyable story and a quick read.

This book was incredibly bad. Sorry, but it really was. Alosa and Riden’s romance felt forced, and you didn’t really understand when they were manipulating each other or actually felt real emotions. The story was messy and a lot happened, some parts felt incredibly unreal.
