Roller Derby Trac Star Adjustable Skates for Kids, Beginners

My eldest daughter bought these with her birthday money. It was a long and protracted decision which skates to buy, but when she saw these ones she fell for them straight away. Thankfully they are one of the few that can be shipped to Australia. The adjustment mechanism is much easier to use than her previous pair, and the skates are apparently very comfortable as she didn't want to take them off! The quality is great for the price! It's a little difficult for her to adjust them by herself at the moment, but I think that that's mainly because she's in the smallest size setting and they're still a little too big, so we need to cinch them in quite tightly around the ankle to get a good fit. I can see that this problem is going to go away as she grows a little. Overall, I'd strongly recommend these skates to anyone with a beginning skater. They seem sturdy and the wheels have enough roll to be usable, while not being so touchy as to cause too many falls. We're looking forward to years of fun with them! To update... It's now over three years since we bought these skates, and the no-longer-so-little-miss has almost outgrown them. They've been worn on the street, along bike paths, and at the rink and they're still in great shape. In fact she's requested a pair in the next size up for Christmas. This pair will be passed along to the next sister in line. My only qualm is that the colour scheme is now pink and white instead of red and white - awfully girly for a big girl. The red and white had true classic appeal!

I purchased these for my daughter's birthday, and she absolutely loves them! They adjust in size with a simple push of a button, so that she's able to adjust them easily herself. They are packaged neatly in a large shoe type box for easy wrapping. The wheels glide easily, and they lock on easily with a flip of a switch. These are a must have for any child who has the desire to skate, or wants to learn how. This was such a great choice! Very reasonable price. Much much better, and higher quality than I expected! I highly recommend!!

Simply too cool and the best of all different skates taken so far..

Check the written description. Ours had the picture with the pineapples on it despite being labelled as blue/white/pink. When we received the skates they were of course blue/white/pink.

compre mediano y le quedó bien a niña de casi 6 años (19 mx) , lo mejor es que son auto ajustables y con eso fácil se pueden aumentar dos tallas más. la forma de apretar las correas es sumamente fácil de hacer. el diseño es muy bonito, seguramente sus niñas quedarán maravilladas. muy buenos para los que comienzan a aprender a patinar, son mejor que los patines de línea, con los que se pueden torcer un tobillo; con esot no sucederá eso.
