Tush Cush Car/Compu Computer Office Seat Cushion - Navy Blue

I was sidelined severe back and leg pain and unable to sit or drive. The Tush Cush car seat cushion relieved the pressure on the nerves enough for me to drive and use my computer again relatively pain free. I give it 5 stars as without it I was unable to sit in a hard chair for more than 5 minutes and driving was virtually impossible. My chiropractor agrees with me that it is a valuable aid for my problems. Might help for all back problems but it certainly did for me. At the price, it is less expensive than one treatment and well worth trying.

I used to dread driving anywhere in my 2011 Ford F150 because the way the back of the seat slopes would cause me great pain in my hips and back. I bought a cheap wedge shaped cusion at walmart and it did wonders but was smashed flat after a week. This one is about 3 times the cost but is worth every penny. It is just the right size, just the right firmness for me (160 lbs), stays put and has retained its shape. It's amazing how such a simple thing can change your posture in such a dramatic way as to alleviate pain I thought I was just going to have to live with.

This is the second one we've purchased. We now have one for the car and one for the desk. My husband really likes them and is the one who uses them the most because for me the opening is a little too wide and the cushion is firmer than I like. It does give a boost to sit up higher when driving the car, which I like.

This cushion is helpful for sitting on hard surfaces but the main problem I was looking to solve was the cutting off of circulation in the upper leg while driving. The front of the cushion has an edge to it, that is, it does not taper down to nothing, so I still have the circulation problem. For just plain cushioning, it is fine. The cut-out in the back would be beneficial for spinal injuries, raising the tailbone off of hard chair surfaces. It'll get used some, but not as much as I had hoped. It is a well made product, but just not exactly what I was needing.

This orthopedic cushion delivered far greater relief than I anticipated. Driving in my low-seated Honda, I developed two problems: my leg would hurt after a half hour of braking and pumping the gas pedal; and my lower back would ache when I emerged from the car after my trip. These two problems were greatly reduced by this product. At this point, my pain is close to zero. The cushion delivered on its promise and spared me a trip to the orthopedist - or worse, the car dealer for a new, more expensive car.

Since my car seat does not have height adjustment, I bought this cushion to elevate my ischiums. It works fine for me. The reason I do not give it 5 stars is because I would like a way to attach it to the seat, to save me the trouble of putting it into place every time I get in the car.

I was surprised how effectively this releived my back pain. Thechange in posture induced by the sloped shape was effective withina few days and continues to be a month later. If it was 15% largeri'd give it 5 stars.

I spend about 2 hours a day (or longer) in my car. The seats in my car are not that comfortable and in turn, have amplified the pain I experience from sciatica. The only thing that has helped is this pillow. Beware that you don't see instant results; it takes about 2 weeks to notice that it is working.
