Seems to be a good quality lug nut that can take some abuse. Works well on my Subaru STI. The finish actually felt kind of rubberized which I felt was strange, good to grip with your fingers but not sure how long that will last.

This is currently only focussing on Shipment and Packaging/Presentation as I have not installed the product. That will happen when I switch to the Summer tires. First off, the price is steep which i knew comparing prices on specialist automotive sites. The price here by the reseller on Amazon was the cheapest I could find and got the free shipping/prime shipping. A+ But based on the presentation picture i had assumed the lug nuts come in a box (the gorilla box shown on the pictures). And honestly, for $5 per nut I had wondered if they come in their own little foam separated casing... nope. They came in an unbranded clear plastic bag inside a small cube shipping box. There was no padding inside which caused the lug nuts (which are steel, not the light aluminum ones) to bash around and that caused the bag to rip (even though it was a heavy duty one, not a sandwich ziplock). The lugs are fine , they didn't seem to mind. No scratches , no dents (again, steel!) , so that prodcut should do well with my wheels. I like that they are the heavy duty hex kind, not the usual tuner kind with the small fins that shear off easily. Looking forward to install them and getting several dozen wheel changes out if it before having to think to replace. I ordered a set of 4 lock nuts of the same brand, that means i will have 4 spares of this set here in case I need to change one.

If you are like me and are changing wheels and tires several times per year, you will want some quality, durable lug nuts. Yes, aluminum lug nuts are nice--light weight and they don't rust. However, they have a tendency to crack or the threads will begin to wear out after a few times of being taken on and off. A quality set of steel lug nuts like this by Gorilla are a great option. The threads will be durable and last. They look nice and the knurled ends are helpful to prevent cross-threading when getting them started. Be careful of using wheel cleaners as it could fade the finish.
