The item arrived with minimal packaging (no foam or protection other than the cardboard it shipped in and a clear, plastic sleeve to protect it. When I removed it there was some damage to one of the rear braces (see attached picture) that pushed it into the canvas. This stretched the canvas a little in that spot, but didn't tear it so I could live with it. It looked beautiful and I was still excited to hang it. Though that excitement quickly waned as the picture would not sit flat on the all and one of the corners bowed significantly outward.That latter issue was too much for me and I requested a replacement. It was promptly shipped and arrived just a few days later. This one had no visible damage but when hung on the wall it bowed out even further (see other attached picture). As a note, the picture is still in it's protective clear wrap, hence the glossiness of that shot. Also, the wall is confirmed flat via another large framed picture that was tested and sat properly.As much as I like the picture itself I'm forced to conclude the chances of getting a properly flat one is too much for my liking. If you get a flat one odds are you'll be happy. Good luck.

It goes nicely where I was hoping it would! I thought i needed larger to fill the wall but the larger was not ready to hang, just comes rolled. So I got out the measuring tape and realized the 40x60 was plenty big. My husband loves it and was happy I finally bought something he didn’t have to put together. Very lite weight, we just popped the one that was up there down and hung this one In it’s place. Two little picture hanging nails. The edges are plain ( not the color of the painting) but looks fine. Once I paint I will have a grey, black, white with a touch of red room.

I got the box with two gashed holes in it and the canvas was slightly bent and I paid for that. Waste of money. Worst the picture is not memorizing like it shows on Amazon. They promised a great product and no bent canvas because they made me pay for shipping. It is not worth it. The colors were dull the red should have popped besides that it was slightly bent. I was lucky the canvas didn't have holes in it. I sent it back. I'm surprised the didn't want to charge me for that too

After reading reviews and seeing how different each painting looked, I was so worried mine wouldn't be right. But it's gorgeous. I have already gotten multiple compliments, and I get happy every time I come in the room and see it. It's haunting and absolutely lovely.
