Simplicity Women's Classic 5 Layered Tulle Tutu Skirt

This was part of a Halloween costume designed by 12 y/o girls. The fit was perfect and the quality was good. I don't think we'll have much use for this after Halloween but it was a good buy. The other girls purchased the same in different colors. No problems with anything.

I bought this to participate in a short race where ridiculousness is encouraged. Fit great; lots of stretch to the band. The orange color matched the picture perfectly. It did have an odor to it when I first pulled it out of the package but after less than a day of airing out there was no more smell. Overall happy with it! Hope to have more opportunities for its use in the future.

Very fluffy tutu with a comfortable waistband. I docked one star because it's not all rainbow. The bottom 3 layers are white. I can see it now that I'm looking for it in the product images, but I couldn't tell that much of it was white before I bought it. If you're curvier/ have a bubble butt, the white is very visible. The bottom layers are somewhat shorter, so you're also not getting the full tutu effect from it in an effort to hide the white. The waistband sits comfortably around my hips, ~41". It doesn't feel too tight there. It doesn't give me a muffin top, but I'm a muscle-y 190, not a curvy 190, so ymmv. It is the length advertised, but because it is sewn on so that it puffs out, it seems shorter. It's 10" out, not down. For me, if I tried wearing it on my waist, it would not cover down to my hips. On my hips, it covers maybe half my butt. I plan on wearing it with running shorts, so I wasn't particularly looking for length, but don't plan on coverage with this one. Very fluffy, short tutu. Overall happy with it, just a little disappointed most of its white, not rainbow.

I purchased this for a St. Patrick’s Day parade & can’t wait to wear it. I wore one a couple years ago & gave it to a young girl after the parade. I wore leggings under it & got so many compliments.

Simplicity is an amazing pattern company and I was thrilled when I discovered it was made by them! I knew it would be well made and good quality. I was not disappointed! I love the reversible feature. The look was very flattering. One note many others have also mentioned, is that this tutu is quite short! If you are 'fuller in the seat', as I am, you definitely will need extra coverage and it will definitely rise slightly higher in the back! It wasn't a problem for me, because I wore leggings with it. I got many compliments. Will buy in other colors!

Honestly, I thought this cheap black tutu would unravel the moment I put it on for my Halloween costume. Not only did it stay together taking it out of its packaging, but this was for my Halloween costume 3-4 years ago! It still looks brand new and pretty amazed at the quality considering the low, low price. Granted I have only worn this tutu again on the rare occasion in the past few years, but this poor tutu has been stuffed in luggage and bags so many times and I know the bottom of my closet floor isn’t a good place to keep it from getting torn. Yet here it is in its original shape. Apart from it staying together all these years, the quality does feel a lil cheap. Pardon my phrasing, but like “child labor force in Xiangxing district of China”-kinda cheap if you know what I mean. But regardless, it’s held up and has still kept its shape in the form of a poofy tulle tutu. Pretty decent product overall, especially for the price. Thank you for reading my dumb review

This tutu RULES. I wore it for a 5k mud-run (The Muddy Princess). It was submerged in water & mud, I traversed tractor tires & scaled walls among other things. We washed it at the laundromat on extra-dirty cycle with regular detergent and borax. It came out bright, FLUFFY, and softer than ever! Couldn't believe it. Also, I have a pretty-plus waist after having 2 kids and it fit great. Highly recommend it!
