Albino DragonGremlins Playing Cards

These playing cards pay fantastic homage to Gremlins 2, which I first fell in love with as a child in theaters but still appreciate for its irreverent, self-referential humor to this day. It is both amazing and slightly surreal to me that this product exists, not to mention the fact that it was created some 20+ years after the release of such an underappreciated / relatively obscure sequel (with what I would guess has a mere cult following). If you are a fan only of the original movie, these cards are probably not for you. But your next step should be to go watch Gremlins 2, recognize its brilliance and how it eclipses its predecessor, then log back onto Amazon and buy this wondrous item.The cards themselves are nice quality with beautiful artwork of the more memorable Gremlins 2 characters* displayed on the face cards. The creators definitely did their homework in this regard, though for some reason double dipped on Mohawk (why not use the daffy, spaghetti-pot Gremlin portrayed on the joker instead?). All the major Gremlins plus Gizmo are represented, and sweet Mogwai Jesus is it awesome. The only downside that I can see so far is that they are almost too cool to use because I don't want to ruin them!*Yes, super fans should note that one card actually has Stripe (with chainsaw) from the original movie.

The pictures just don't do these cards justice. As one of my favorite movies, I'm always on the lookout for quirky merchandise or memorabilia that I've never seen before and these cards fit the bill precisely. The highly detailed artwork on the Jacks, Queens, and Kings just pop right off the card. You've got your usual "suspects" filling in, like Gizmo, Stripe, and Greta (the female Gremlin from The New Batch), but you're also going to see others like the Flasher Gremlin, Brain Gremlin, Bat Gremlin, George, Lenny, Daffy, and the Electric Gremlin, too. Mohawk even shows up twice in this deck - once in his Gremlin form and again in his Spider-Gremlin form.All in all, this is a fantastic deck of cards and I think collectors and movie junkies alike will be happy to have it in their possession.

I found a couple of the movies I loved as a kid as decks, and this Gremlins deck made my Birthday List. We camp frequently. We love to play cards/games while we're out there. Having different decks to play just offers up some fun variety. Of the decks I have: Goonies, Breaking Bad, Ghostbusters and Gremlins - the images of Gremlins and Ghostbusters were the best. The art is bright, creepy, rich and just fun.

Obsessed with these cards! I live and breathe Gremlins, so these cards were an amazing addition to an already ridiculous collection. The colors quality and detail are spot on.

I bought this as a gift for my grandson, so I haven't removed the shrink wrap from the deck yet. So my observations are from the wrapped deck. Seems to be of high quality. Bright, crisp design on cards. Made in Erlanger, Kentucky, USA.

Purchased these for my son who is a Gremlins fan since he was a child he is now 34 years old. He loved them and a nice surprise as a stocking filler.
