Doesn’t work at all unless ur standing right in front of it and the room is already slightly cool. Otherwise it’s just blowing hot air! Only reason it has so many good reviews is because they offer a $30 gift card for a GOOD review!

After reading tons of reviews for multiple products (careful, there is a high percentage of fraudulent or misplaced reviews in this category) we ordered this one and another fan/evaporator.The unit is well built and easy to use. It seems solidly built. The noise is acceptable (not whisper quiet). There is alight, and the fan is portable as it has a built-in battery.However, as a cooler, it really does not work very well. It has a few sponges and an evaporator yet we did not find the air coming out to be very cold, even after soaking the sponge in water as recommended. I am returning mine and getting a different one.I am lowering to one star after the vendor contacted me to bribe me to remove my review. Very unethical. Instead, he should remove the claim for the product to be an air conditioner. It is a fan/evaporative cooler at best.

Love this little air cooler !!!! I live in an area prone to hurricanes, power outages & HOT weather...this personal air cooler is AWESOME !!!! It works plugged in as well as on its rechargeable battery.

This is the 2nd A/C unit I have bought for when the power goes out. Make sure you charge it as soon as you get it and charge it Every month or so to keep the battery charged. Soak the filter in I’ve cold water and fill the reservoir with the extra ice water and you will get 54-64 F it will fluctuate there is no constant temp it’s colder in the beginning because the filter just came out of the ice water. Over all these are a life saver to keep my little one cool in a power outage the battery lasts quite a bit on lowest setting but I also have battery back ups to give me extra time

This item worked fine untill about three days in when the lid melted to the top and it can no longer be opened. I ever tried to pry it open but it just cracked. :(

This little device works better than I thought I would. I keep it on the lowest setting and it keeps a cool stream of air plus it last for a long time. The only down sides I’ve noted are the noise level, which isn’t a sound side personally because it actually lulls me to sleep but I know some people would have an issue with it. Also the distance doesn’t go as far as some might want it to.

This portable air cooler works very well for desk spaces. It will cool the surrounding area without being a distraction. Its quiet and can last for hours without being plugged in.
