Adorable, Accurate, and a Fun Way to Share Science Early
I bought this book for my niece, and as a former high school science teacher with a degree in genetics, I can confirm the information is accurate. It's a rare and fun way to introduce complex science in a format that's colorful, engaging, and full of cute characters. Her parents teased me, saying there’s no way she understood any of it—but she loved turning (and occasionally chewing on) the sturdy board book pages, and I loved sharing one of my favorite science topics with her. She may not grasp it now, but thanks to this book, she’ll be one of the only preschoolers who knows what DNA is.
