This was kinda a shock it look amazing heavy and has amazing shine,so now if it stays that way its well worth the money. I have about 11 necklaces this 1 is 1 of my favorite. All my charms fit it . I do clean my necklaces and bracelets a couple times a week with a good jewelry cloth I don't like the 1s they send with jewelry. I. Bought 1 that's half size of a wash cloth and about half as thick as 1 so it makes a difference on what u use to keep silver sparkling

i had been wanting another silver necklace. i saw one in a brick and mortar store for arpund 200 bucks and wanted to shop for lower cost options. i believe you get what you pay for and when i saw this NYC sterling necklace on amazon i had questioned the quality. i googled the seller and they have a brick and mortar store in NYC and i called and spoke to an actual rep. this gsve me confidence and so i bought this rope chain in 3.5mm and i love it! i wear it all the time and the length is good and the weight on my neck is nice. i wear it to work and even after working all day it still shines nice! theres been no discoloration and the clasp is stamped 925 italy. i dont wear it in the shower simply bc its long enough to take off without unclasping. its 26" and 3.5mm in width. i highly recommend bc its jist as nice as the one i saw in person at the store and half the cost bc box stores have bigger bills to pay. definitely would buy from the seller again.

It shines and very beautiful. Bought as a gift for my son I hope it holds up. I requested a replacement because a link was rough( snag on skin and clothing). I received a replacement quickly. I’m happy for price and size is accurate.

Long lasting quality perfect length perfect with and very high quality seeming no tarnishing and have had it on for 2 months

Bought this for my son as like a starter necklace. It looked good at first! Upon arrival that is. After wearing it for a few days his neck started to get irritated and the color of the necklace changed to a darker hue. He didn't shower with it on or anything. Even would take it off before bed. I tried looking up what the markings mean on the necklace as it has other symbols like a GM on the clasp. I looked it up and it says it's a gunmetal coating that supposedly helps with tarnish prevention. I think the only real silver on the necklace was the clasp after all. A pretty disappointing purchase, for me and my son.

I am disappointed that it came tarnished. It is a nice chain but you can’t wear it because of the discolouration. I would not recommend

The chain tarnishes to BLACK within days of being cleaned with silver dip and a silver cloth. We bought this chain as a replacement for one that my son had before. That chain needed cleaning about once a year. This one went black within a month. I cleaned it and it has started to go black again within a day. The clasp - where the hallmark is - has not tarnished. I am not convinced that the chain itself is actually silver… contrast with the teddy bear charm and silver ring (see picture), which are definitely silver.
