This shelf pack is awesome :) They weren't too hard to put up. 1. Find your studs and decide on your bracket spacing (very flexible there) 2. make a line using a level, marking where you want the self, 3. hold up a bracket and mark the holes, 4. pre-drill holes, 5. use included heavy lag bolts to install, 6. pop on the wire shelving, and 7. install the plugs along the back to make sure it stays put. Sooo simple. :) You really could do it with one person, but two people make it go faster and keeps materials together and reduces trips up and down a ladder. The metal on this is pretty heavy duty. We bought the Hyloft hooks that work with this shelving, and they hold bikes and tools really well. I can't foresee ever straining or maxing out this shelf with the usual stuff a household uses! It's pretty heavy duty. We have a bike carrying hitch on one, and it's like there's nothing on the shelf. It will really hold what it says it will (and possibly then some.. there was a warning sticker inside that said they take no responsibility for their product if you put 400 lbs on the rack. 400lbs?? What on earth could you put on a shelf to exceed stability like that? Lead bricks??) We love the design, the quality, and easy install so much, we're already looking at putting up more!! We have our carport back from the clutter!! :D Will update if anything comes up as far as rust/quality issues down the road. But these are up way high, so even in our notorious sideways windy rains, nothing should ever get wet. So far, I would highly recommend. This product was everything we were expecting, and a little bit more. And insanely good prices at 50.00 for a 2 pack!

Pros: Large capacity; Attractive stainless steel design; does its business well. Cons: N/a thus far. Bottom-Line: I like my new HyLoft 967 45-by-15-Inch Wall Shelves. Our house had no basement! Not a pretty fact but there it is. So that presents a storage problem, as is there is precious little of it. So the garage has become our place to store stuff that would normally be shoved into the dark innards of the basement. So I bought and put together a multitude of floor-standing four shelf units; instant storage after installation of course. But things change and over time the garage had become unruly and I hate unruly. And we are about to make a new car purchase and while there would have been room in the garage to park it, I want the shelves gone. Enter the HyLoft 967 45-by-15-Inch Wall Shelf, 2-Pack I ordered from Amazon.com for $60.00 a pair. The Product The HyLoft 967 45-by-15-Inch Wall Shelf, 2-Pack is an all-white ensemble that one installs along the walls of your garage via (6) ¼" x 2.5" hex screws per shelve. The HyLoft 967 shelves are made of strong, durable steel with patented low-profile brackets. Each measures 45 by 15 inches for more than 45 square feet of storage space. Once installed, each shelf will hold up to 150 pounds. To install the shelves you will need a drill with a 3/16" drill bit, and 7/16" wrench, or socket wrench and 7/16" (11mm) socket. Installation will take about 10 minutes per shelf. And added bonus: the HyLoft 967 is a one-man installation job. My Thoughts I like my new HyLoft 967 45-by-15-Inch Wall Shelves. The 2-pack is economical, easy to install (given the proper tools), is strong enough to hold everything that used to find a home on our floor shelves. I ordered (3) boxes and installed all six shelves around the perimeter of my garage leaving the floor empty and ready to receive my new four wheel mode of transport. And my garage looks brand new and eerily empty.

I needed a shelf that was more thn 12 inches and less than 24 inches. This was it and a very good price from a well known storage company. It is sturdy. I gave it a 4 in assembly because a lot of time is required to make sure it is level. My garage wall was a bit wavy and made leveling difficult without a helper. A good stud finder and a four-foot level are needed. The bolts are very substantial, and a power driver is very helpful as a rachet driver is a slow process. A wrench would be a lot of work. I predrilled using their suggestion to soap the bolts. Then I drove the bolts in a bit to have a good starter hole. The rubber stoppers thar secure the shelves were also hard to install and I have to resort to a hammer to get them set. They are essential to the stability of the shelves. I added a zip tie for added protection. I am very satisfied with the shelves and got a lot of stuff off the four. They suggest that this a 30-minute job, but I found it was much longer mainly because of the levelling.

Excellent shelves. Installed in my laundry closet above my all-in-one washer/dryer. Easy to install. Very strong. Very sturdy. Nice looking. I am very pleased. Recommend.

Pros: 1. Easy installation. Takes about an hour per shelf, of which most of the time is spent locating the studs through the sheetrock. Seriously, someone needs to make a really good studfinder. 2. Holds up a lot of weight. 3. Offers a lot of surface area 4. Well built. Sturdy. 5. Good quality bolts and other hardware Cons: 1. The shelves are held onto the support brackets with zip ties. Would be better if there was a bolt on option. Summary: The installation is straight forward and simple, and the instruction manual is pretty well written. The shelves are very sturdy and I have no doubts that the shelf will bend or fall down. The lag bolts that come with it are good quality and I had no problems during the install. As stated above, the majority of the time was spent trying to precisely located a stud through the sheetrock. After trying out one set of shelves for a week, I ended up buying 2 more sets to line the entire wall of my garage. HyLoft also sells hooks that attach themselves to the bottom of the shelves to give you even more options for storage. I would highly recommend those.
