What can I say except disappointed in the quality. While on it has a constant sound like a hum.. & even though this is Fixed directly to a Joist using the 2 large screws & Plugs it wobbles while on making the chain give off a sound as its running of the light shade.. Not really impressed at all... Theres obviously a balancing issue with this design..Updating this as its been fitted & running now for a while, Horrible vibrating sound coming from the Motor.. If you press against it the Vibrations stop & then appear again a few mins later.. Item was properly fitted to a flat roof using the fittings that came with it..Updated Again, Bought another in the hopes it was just a fault of 1 but nope, Rattling sounds when spinning, whining squeaking & other stupid noises constantly while running.. Keep well away of this *****

We've had this in place for 6 months and it gives good, if not super-bright light. The fan works at 3 speeds and you can switch it (on the fan housing) from Summer (blows upwards) to Winter (blows downwards). It runs quietly and provides a good breeze, but on it's own didn't cope with the scorching temperatures last summer, we needed an additional fan.

Nice looking fan, bought remote control also. All works well, nice and quiet on all speeds (installed in Living Room). On really hot days I would've of liked a few more RPM's on speed 3, so worth checking before you buy any fan.

A bit fiddly to put together and install (there were 2 of us) but looks great and really good value for money.
