HiViz Front Pistol Sight for Walther PPQ and P99, and S&W SW99 - SW3004-G , Green

Fits perfectly on the Walther PPQ M2 9mm - high quality fiber optic front sight, much more solid and durable than others because the housing is made of steel not polymer. I usually go for night sights but fiber optic sights are actually better for daytime shooting and they are less expensive!

Waited too long to get this, high visibility, perfect fit.

I put this on my Walther PPQ. It fit fine, it's bright and much easier to see that the factory white dot sight. I did find it came loose after firing about 50 rounds. So I put a drop of Loctite on it. It has no edges to catch clothing, so if your putting it on a concealed carry fire arm I don't think it will cause any problems. They offer Green and Red. Green is supposed to be brighter but some people point out if you in the woods green may blend in more with the background making it harder to see. I have not taken mine out into the woods so I can't tell you how well it works in the great outdoors. But It does work well in doors in low or bright lighting.

Installed on a Walther PPQ M2 Navy, hoping it might be a little more visible then the stock white sights in daylight - I knew it would not do anything in the dark. I was disappointed that under all lighting conditions I tried it in (indoors at the range, full sunlight, bright room light, low light) the sight was MUCH darker then the stock white and quite hard to pick up. I had to shine a flashlight directly over the top of it, to make it stand out at all - obviously, not satisfactory. Light gathering ability was very poor and not helped by the fact the front end of the light tube was completely enclosed so no extra light could get in from that angle - I doubt it would have made any real difference even if it was exposed. This compared very poorly to my Walther Q5 Match's front sight (a red acrylic light tube), which was much brighter and is quite easy to pick up in all normal lighting conditions - as much as I hoped the HiVis might be comparible, it wasn't even close. I have no idea what the favorable reviews on this are all about... I returned this , and my advice is to stay with the factory front sight on a Walther PPQ M2 for everything but night use applications where tritium or fluorescent paint would be indicated. I gave this one star, only because it actually fit my gun well, and it was an easy return back to Amazon - otherwise I'd have given it zero stars. Honestly, it was pretty worthless as an aid to aiming a pistol IMHO.

Great front sight for the Walther PPQ M2 with a caveat. The picture here showing the hex screw configuration is NOT what I received. Furthermore, the Walther hex screw for the front sight is too large in diameter to fit this sight. However, the screw mechanism that is part of the package coupled with an included washer does it. I had my doubts. Wasted a least an hour trying to fit the Walther PPQ M2 screw resulting in MUCH frustration. As a last resort (and I did not think it would work), I installed with the included screw/washer combination. Look at the pictures for clarification if necessary. Also, you will note that their is NO language on the package indicating compatibility with the Walther PPQ M2, and yet, the language here states that it is compatible.

I shot a friends Springfield XDS and fell in love with a fiber optic front sight pin. I ordered this for my PPQ M2 Navy and I like it a lot. The green really shines out in the daylight. The Walther factory sight shot 6 o'clock at 20yds and so does the HiViz....I'm not a fan of 6 o'clock I prefer a dead center front sight. I wish they made this sight for my Ruger LC9S.

Product fits on Walther PPX. Looks good and was easy to install. Upgrade over factory white dot sight. -1 star for lowlight performance. It maybe that my expectations were too high, I have no plans to switch to a night sight though.

Excellent Qualityand improves the ability to quickly acquire the sight in all light conditions. Get the hex tool to easily install. My second HiViz sight and find these are the best for the price to replace any plastic sight. Lines up perfect with stock rear sights so no plan to replace the rear anytime soon.

sits higher then factory sight causes weird sight picture to hit target where you want.

Fits well not as bright as I had hoped

unfortunately this was a christmas gift and i could not return it in time.now im stuck with a front sight that is worse than the stock sight. its a piece of crap
