GREAT READ!
This book was recommended for a book club. While not the normal book I would have chosen (I read/ write sweet romance), I was immedietly drawn in by the heady scent of something afoot and wanting to champion for all four of the characters. I found the book a delightful read that I could not put down.

Good read...starts a little slow though
Like most of Denise Hildreth's books, it starts slow and then picks up. Of all the kids, I found Elizabeth to be the least endearing even after she had changed for the better. She seemed so full of hate whereas the other kids were just misguided and extremely self-absorbed. I even warmed up to the cad Jeffrey. It did bug me a little that the narrative infers that elective plastic surgeon (or anyone who gets elective surgery)=shallow and bad. I was also hoping to see some interaction between him and his baby daughter. As far as the alcoholic eternal student Will, I just kept wanting to scream at him. That guy is one dense dude. It was also nice to see Mary Catherine become a force to be reckoned with in life and her classroom.

Second book I have read by this author
In enjoyed the first book I read by this author, Hurricanes and Paradise, that I wanted to read another. This one did not disappoint. She is a great story teller with very well developed, believable characters. The twist and turns kept me interested. Both were quick reads and very enjoyable. Being from the South, I think she nails the southern ways.

A Terrific Read
After reading the Savannah series and falling so completly in love with the characters, I didn't think that I would enjoy this book as much. Boy was I wrong! The characters in this book almost each needed a book of their own. They left a huge impression on me. I almost felt as though I didn't get to know them as well as I would have liked. I guess that is a sign of a truly gifted author...always leave them wanting more. I would recommend this book to anyone.

The Will of Wisteria
The Will of Wisteria was recommended to me by a dear friend who I have a great deal of respect for. I will highly recommend it to my friends. It shows a family so spoiled by material things with the most important aspect of life forgotten, respect and love for others!!

A different, but effective narrative
This is a Southern tale of the convoluted year following the death of a father of four, who leaves a will with a kite's worth of strings. It is not too predictable, to say the least.

Another Winner from Denise Hildreth Jones
I first read this book several years ago, but it's still one of my favorites by Denise Hildreth Jones. I first became familiar with the author after reading Savannah from Savannah then followed by the rest of the books that in series. This book is no different - great characters & great storytelling. I highly recommend.
