Green Toys Flat Bed Truck Blue/Grey & Race Car Red, 12 months - 6 years

Great size for toddler and big brother to play with together. Very sturdy to withstand being sent flying down the stairs!

My grandson is just turning 2 years old shortly and he absolutely loves anything to do with "Cars". He also loves trucks, so this toy is the perfect one for him. While they aren't exactly the same, they make a nice stand-in for Lightning McQueen and Mack for a toddler. I was able to purchase this set when it was on sale here on Amazon, so I got a great deal, too.For play, we are having so much fun with one race car, that I am planning on buying the matching blue car so we can race back and forth. He likes to take the car and truck separately and run them across the floor. He's already figured out that they work best on hard surfaces, so he looks for wood, tile, and table tops. As it turns out, the race car fits really well on the top of our window ledge.The whole toy is made of of recycled materials, so it is great to know that something that has been re-purposed is bringing so much joy to a little one.I've bought a number of toys by Green Toys and they are all really durable and can take some pounding. My grandson has developed a bad habit of throwing his toys across a tile floor to make a loud noise (did I mention he is almost two? He yells "No" while he does it.) In any case, the Green Toys make the satisfactory noise and don't get damaged from the abuse. I'm working on getting him to only throw balls but he may need to be a little older before this lesson completely sinks in.This is a fun toy for any boy or girl who likes trucks or cars and is especially great for those who have a passion for them. When he comes to my house on weekdays, he heads right for these car/truck toys first thing and we spend many hours "talking" about them and playing race cars. They bring a lot of joy to him and that brings a lot of joy to me, too.

These Green Toys are absolutely the best, hands down! What's not to love? The minute you recieve one you relize the substantial and durable quality of them. They are easy to clean and I literally can not fathom any saftey hazards whatsoever with these toys (other than if the are used as a projectile, but that is the case with most toys that are not fabric, so obviously if there is a baby in the bunch with some older toddlers or so, you should still have your eyes on the kids). I love that they are all dishwasher safe for sterilizing. We have decided to keep all the Green Toys in a toy box in our main livingroom for 2 reasons. When we have company with children or playmates visiting, they can all just dive into these toys and we don't have the aggravation of my grandson's other toys being dragged out with multiple pieces, and those are not all small child safe, and we can not just throw them in the dishwasher afterwards as we can these. These are literally worry free toys when children are visiting (other than the aforementioned throwing, or maybe banging over the head, so yes you still must parent as we should be anyway). Second, after dinner, when there is just a small window of time for bath and playtime before bed, these are hassle free and the only toys we let him drag out because they are simple and easy pickup. BONUS, they are MADE IN THE USA, and of completely recycled materials. I have not seen that many quality toys like these other than ones made in the 1940's or so, where good craftsmanship (as these are) mattered, even in a toy. We have at least 2 dozen of these toys and they have become an awesome gift item especially when they go on sale, which is often. They are literally the PERFECT toys!

My 3 year old nephew loves this. He can get very rough and this has held up well. Great size for pushing around house. Also great for playing in the sand, doesn't get stuck easily and cleans up well.

Front of car is light so when you push it the car twirls around. He still loves it. We push it backwards. Light weight so little fingers don't get pinched too bad. Dump truck is better for that.

Best product by far and love that they use recycled jugs and are dishwasher safe if needed!
