Shadow Prowler (THE CHRONICLES OF SIALA)

All regular readers of fantasy books will know just how variable the genre can be. Many are "readable". Quite a few are not even readable. Of course this depends on ones personal taste. Just occasionally I find an outstanding book. Shadow Prowler is definitely in the outstanding class.I won't describe the story, you can read that in the blurb and in the other reviews.I will just say that if you like Robert Jordan, the early David Eddings(Belgariad and Malorian) and Raymond Feist you will love Shadow Prowler. Clever, different, exciting. Good characters. Great story.I can't wait for the next two books.

I love this genre anyway but this was a capturing read and I'm straight on to the next book. It made a real change tosee the world from a thief's perspective, the twist and turns of the plot, capturing the main character into a contract hecouldn't refuse.

great read Alexey brings the place and people to life so that you feel caught up in the story and can't wait till the next part to see what happens to everyone.

Very good book. Very entertaining. Five Stars.

This book takes a bit to get into so stick with it. It starts quite slow and over descriptive (which is why i gave it 4 stars), but once the action and adventure starts, it is actually a really good book ! It has humour, adventure, action, mystery etc - a bit of everything. I enjoyed it so much i have just bought the second as i look forward to seeing where the story goes !

As soon as I started reading it I couldn't put it down. If you like Lord of the rings you will enjoy these books aswell
