Remy "Jinx" DuPre the unluckiest player in the NHL."Irresistible You" has a wonderful cast of hockey playing cast members sexy, troubled, and charming. Kate Meader rolls out this first installment with rich storylines, compelling conflicts, potential pairings, magnetic romance, and steamy sex. Remy's a charming laid-back Cajun Alpha hero with mad cooking skills and a sexy French vocabulary. Harper starts off not easy to like but shapes up quickly. She becomes sympathetic and likable and you will totally root for her to realize her dreams. Not just to win the guy but to get real sisters out of the deal. Remy's a charming characters not only for Harper but for his teammates as well. The Chicago Rebels series looks like it's going to be just as good as Kate Meader's Hot in Chicago series. After reading In Skates Trouble, the Chicago Rebels teaser novella (loved it!), I couldn't wait for more of Kate Meader's hot, sexy, hockey players and was so happy to have the opportunity to download an early copy from NetGalley. IRRESISTIBLE YOU more than fulfilled my hopes for another great story in her new series.Harper Chase is finally achieving her dreams as owner of the Chicago Rebels pro hockey team. So what if they are second to last in the league. She has faith in her guys, and the fire and drive to pull off a winning season. She's ready to do whatever it takes to make the finals despite the sports media taking pot shots at her at every turn. And so what if she has to share ownership with her two sisters. She's ready to make the most of that as well, as long as Isobel and Violet allow her to be the main decision maker. She's been preparing for this role all her life and she's more than ready. All she needs is a solid player who can lead her team into the finals.Remy Dupre is a sexy Cajun who plays center for Boston. He pushes himself to train harder than most of the players in the league and at 35 his body can't take much more. He knows his time in the NHL is coming to an end. Boston's got a good shot at going all the way and he's looking forward to finally winning the Cup and then retiring back home in New Orleans near his family. That Cajun is one fine, sexy, sweet-talking man. And he can cook! Maybe just a taste would be okay?Great story of opposites attracting, LOVED Remy and Harper, solid cast of characters that I NEED more of, witty dialogue, panty-melting dirty talk, sexy pro athletes, sassy sisters bonding, lots of laughs, steamy, sensual, sex scenes, and did I mention Remy's masterful, seductive dirty talk? No wonder Harper couldn't resist him! I highly recommend this series. Now I can't wait for the next book, So Over You. 4.5 stars~All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

With the novella In Skates Trouble, we got a teeny tiny glimpse into Kate Meader’s new series and I loved it. With Irresistible You, I found another irresistible series to follow. I absolutely loved Harper Chase. She’s feisty, driven and strong. She’s been hurt not only by a lover, but by her father, who she was never good enough for. It’s interesting to read about Harper’s dynamic with her deceased father and her two half-sisters, whom she is not close to. The fact that they have to work together to run the hockey organization that Harper has desperately wanted to be a part of nearly her entire life, is just one of the many hurtles they have to overcome.Of course, this is a romance, so there is an extremely sexy, pain in the butt love interest that Harper has to deal with. She wants him and he wants her, but a relationship with him could ruin everything she’s worked hard to accomplish. Sleeping with one of her players would damage her reputation, as if people take a woman in a man’s world all that seriously as it is. Remy was pretty freaking perfect. I totally understand why Harper wasn’t able to stay away from him for very long. Their chemistry was off the charts. I thought for sure they were going to melt my Kindle. On top of that, Remy is freaking romantic as all get out without even really trying.This book is exactly what I’ve come to know and love from Kate Meader. She is a must read, one-click author for me now. She creates complex characters and not only gives the reader a fulfilling, sexy romance, but she also gives us a great story about family, no matter how unconventional that family might be. I cannot wait to read Isobel and Violet’s books. I am so intrigued by each of them, as well as their budding relationships with each other and Harper.
