Q: How soft is the part that goes in your ear? i love my sony ones, but they are super soft in my ear. i don’t think i could tolerate a stiffer one.

The Sony MDREX15LP are totally recommended... I loved these earbuds, the sound is amazing, the bass is awesome.

No batteries. Simple, plug into headphone jack, no microphone.
