Used it to replace an Infinity 10 inch woofer for SM-112 speaker and it did not distract from the sound quality. Great price as well as great sound quality.

Sound is amazing

Just for an experiment, I bought a pair of these to install in a set of Allison CD-9's I had restored this past summer. These are a perfect fit dimensionally, but their sound quality (bass and lower midrange) are both lacking compared to the OEM woofers.Putting it into perspective, if the Allison CD-9 were built today, it would be a $3000 pair of speakers, easily. You're not going to repair that with a $40 woofer.Acoustic suspension is a finnicky mistress, and far more unforgiving than ported if you use a mismatch woofer. Refoaming the original Allison 10" woofers is a smart use of time and money. Using these woofers as a substitute is not.

Great speaker and great people! They are very nice and willing to help by phone. The value is great! I do not know why but both my speakers for my two sub woofers in my home theater failed. These were excellent replacements. I would highly recommend these people. As for sound quality, when it comes to sub-woofers, it really doesn't matter. BOOM BOOM (is all sub-woofer does, in my opinion).

Ordered a pair of these late last year as an upgrade to a 50 y/o GE stereo I'm restoring. I haven't finished reassembling the unit yet, so I can't comment on the sound, but 1 of the 2 speakers makes a scraping noise when the diaphragm moves. Appears to be the voice-coil scraping as it moves in and out of the magnet. Too late for me to return the order, unfortunately...

I have a pair of Cannon TLS speakers that are 30+ years old. One woofer suddenly blew out this week, after research I ordered this speaker as a replacement. It was a perfect fit, and it sounds great! Bass response is excellent, my speakers sound like new again!

yes I did not double check the description Title before I ordered it. But its definitely NOT a subwoofer. It'd my fault but AMAZON when I search 10" 8OHM sub please don't include this.

I replaced a set of non-original woofers in my AR2ax's with the GW-1038s. The new woofers along with new capacitors make the speakers sound like they are new! Very economical upgrade for my stereo system.

I made a mistake and I cancelled the 10 inch which was ordered first and I re-ordered the 12 inch. The 12 inch works great.

Purchased this woofer to replace my deteriorating, aged speaker in my home audio powered sub-woofer. The low frequencies sound good and responsive - much better than before. The rubber construction of the woofer speaker looks like it should provide many years of listening enjoyment.
