K I.C.O.N. Drench Shampoo 8.5oz + Free Conditioner 8.5oz (Combo Set) by Vidimear

I have naturally very curl, kinky hair. I get chemical straightening treatments approximately once every 6-9 months via the Matrix Opti Smooth system, resistant formula. I wash my hair 1-2 days per week and style it with the Revlon voluminizer blow dry brush and a BabyLiss Pro flat iron.I purchased this shampoo and conditioner set based on previous experience with the ICON product line. My stylist had recommended a leave-in conditioning treatment from them which I absolutely loved. However, since I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week, it takes a while for me to finish a set before I tried this one.Overall, I am pleased with the product. The actual shampoo and conditioner is a light purple color and smells fantastic. I like how the shampoo is strong enough to penetrate the multi-day build up and leaving it with a clean feeling, without over drying. The conditioner is nice too, I always comb through my hair in the shower with the conditioning product and let it set for a few minutes.I am pleased with this purchase and will probably buy this set again in the future.

I have been using this product for years. Recently there has been a package change. It goes further than the package to the product itself. Both shampoo and cream rinse are watered down considerably. That’s the only way I can describe it. It takes almost five times as much product to produce a wimpy lather. The cream rinse is equally reduced.I don’t know the logic behind the changes. If it is to increase the profit margin, ruining a fabulous product will not work. Sadly I’m looking for a replacement.Check review dates to see if they are current.

My daughter recommended this and it is doing great. The funny thing is we have totally different hair types. Mine is very fine, and tends to react to humidity by frizzing, her's is medium to thick texture. I love this shampoo and conditioner, having used it only twice. So the test will be after a couple more weeks whether or not it builds up and causes my hair to lay flat, which I hate. My daughter says it has stopped her from shedding so badly. That is why I wanted to try it as I drop hair all over the place. I will come back in a couple months and update this review, but so far I love how it has tamed my frizz a bit, feels silky to the touch, but has not weighed my hair down or made it feel dirty too fast.

I really like the shampoo and conditioner. The shipper did a good job in packaging and taped the flip proportion of the dispenser on the shampoo lid so it could not open whike in transit; however, both bottles arrived only about 3/4 full. This was very disappointing. Unfortunately I was very low on my current supply, so did not have the time to return it and receive a new full set.

Rely on this for curl care, is not too heavy

Conditioner spilled out all inside the inner envelope, too much trouble to return, but I don’t think I’ll order it again, too expensive too lose 1/4 of it.

I bought this for my brother. His hair is now very moisturized and soft, he is happy. Highly recommended. Will be the bigger version. He has Caribbean hair.

The product came unsealed and half full. They filled the bottles with some other liquid that was disgusting, and same liquid in shampoo and conditioner. Requested immediate refund.
