This is such an amazing soap to have. It cleans like no other soap leaving your skin actually soft and clean. The charcoal in the soap helps to get rid of all the dirt and grime on your skin and in the pores. It’s absolutely amazing, great scent, bigger size, moisture level is great, longevity of the soap is incredible and the lather is perfection. This is the soap that I will buy and use forever.

Im a fleet maintenance mechanic for my company who does street sweeping, snow removal and pressure washing. I get dirty. I've always used dove soap bars and dawn dish soap if its really bad. I've tried typical mechanic hand cleaners like fast orange. They work ok but they never take off the stuff that's ground into your skin. This Grease Monkey soap does. It takes off everything. It also leaves me smelling great, my skin feeling hydrated and no residue. The bars are big, I ordered the 2 pack. Im curious to see how long they'll last. If you've ever struggled to get that last bit of junk out of your skin, give this a shot.

Purchased for my grandson who is in auto technology class & working in an automotive repair shop. It gets the grease & grime out. He said it is rough, but needs to be, to get through the grease crud on his hands and arms. He keeps 1 bar in the shower.

My husband is a forklift mechanic for a lumber mill and his fingers are always black. He has tried multiple types of soap made to cut through the grease and none of it has been able to reach the grease that is embedded in his skin. Until now. I saw this soap on Amazon and decided to get it for him to try. It arrived while he was at work. When he got home I had him use the Grease Monkey soap. It worked wonders, that first day he was able to get so much of the grease stain off of his fingers that they were almost normal colored again. Now he uses it everyday and the only places he has black on his fingers or knuckles is in the cracks too deep for the soap to get into. It also works great for me after gardening and does not dry out my skin. The soap is in an oversized bar that seems to be lasting extremely well. We have only been using it for a few weeks, but so far it seems to be about the same size as when I opened the package. It has a delightful peppermint scent that you can smell as soon as you enter our bathroom. It does have some grainy texture to it when lathered up, but it is not near as rough as Lava soap. I have just ordered 4 more sets so I can give these out as Christmas presents to all the mechanics and backyard mechanics in our family.

This soap is great! It would be nice if the packaging would be consistent tho. The ones that get wrapped individually seems to hold it's sent longer then the ones that are just thrown in the box.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend who is a mechanic and he loves it. The soap comes smoothed out but once you lather it up you can feel the grit. The scent is not to over powering but it’s pretty nice. When he comes home from work his arms be covered in all kinds of oils and grease which most soaps can’t take off well. But one swipe of this soap and you can see his actual skin color show up. The only thing I don’t like about it myself is that it leaves a weird feel to the skin after use but I don’t think he minds it.

The recipient of this gift, was a young boat mechanic and he absolutely loved it.

Love this stuff! My husband's a diesel mechanic and regularly comes home coated in black film. Some days he won’t even hug me until he showers (although that could be a ploy to get wet and naked, lol) . This soap is fantastic, it’s a bit rougher than pumice scrub but all the coco/palm oils soften skin and loosen grease/diesel/whatever. The palm stamp says it’s sustainable, so no guilt there. It smells nice too! Mildly mint-coconutty so I regularly steal it for my knees and elbows. This is our fourth bar and we plan to continue ordering in the future. Enough typing... hubs home, so it’s time to shower ;)

I've never had to "break" in soap before but after that's done it makes my hands nice and soft and scrubs off any grease and paint.
