These little packs get super hot so the sleeve provided is necessary. Even with the sleeve, it's still a lil too hot. Need them after UFE procedure and it really helps with cramping. Not sure how long the heat lasts since I just started.

Good when working but beware that some will arrive already activated and dead! I counted about 8 packs that were already dead! Some (about 2) could not be used for some reason. No matter how we tried to activate the chemical reaction, it was a no go situation. I was happy with the remaining! The working ones were very good in duration and light to carry! Would order again but the failures give me reason to find another vendor or maker. I cannot offer a solution in the premature activation due to the many factors in delivery methods! This item is activated by squeezing or some impact slapping method and that action comes with the normal action within deliveries! Better packing? I do not know! Again, they work and produce heat for a good duration! Thanks Amazon!

Simple first comment: THIS IS A NO BUY RECOMMENDATION! Let me explain why you should keep looking for other solutions. First, they are almost impossible to activate, as many reviews already mentioned. Pack says squeeze here to activate, nope doesn’t work. I had to take a heavy bottle to pound on the pack to activate it. Why should it be so difficult? Second, I needed a pack for me irritated eye. Dr told me not like a barber’s towel but not so cool you don’t even feel it. Well, after the tough chore of activating it, the middle of the pack was 104 degrees. Sounds great right? No way, it’s just slightly warm affording no real heat to my eye. There are other self heating packs like hand warmers, but NO, they get way too hot for your face and can cause burns! So, my questions moving onward, attempting to fund a viable solution. Trying microwave packs next, but like many of us, I don’t want to leave the bedroom to go to the kitchen to heat up a pack. I want to be in bed, open one and use it immediately. As I said, I’m searching to find a more viable solution for more of you are not disappointed like I was. Will update my review when I’ve located a good product that meets my needs!

This product is perfect for helping to heal after having lip filler. It’s the perfect size and this company even provides a thin cloth to put around the bag for usage.

After reading some of the lower rated comments I grabbed a heat pack from the middle and the bottom, and just like others said, they DO NOT work. I am returning these asap! My original comment is below. I am absolutely disgusted about being ripped off! Go through the comments first before purchasing this product. (Original Comment) First these are more like 4 x 4, that aside, they are easy to activate (which is a plus for someone with RA) & they get really hot really quick. Heat lasted a good 20min’s before they started to cool down (constant/slowly). Please make sure you wrap them in a small towel before applying to your skin.

Half of the heat packs didn't work. It wouldn't Crack no matter what. The ones that did Crack a mix, worked very well.

These were great and helped relieve pain. The h packaging is durable. I am keeping them in my go-bag for the future. Easily portable and nothing leaked in my packages.

I got this because I wanted to use it to relieve my menstrual cramps. First, the size was misrepresented because I thought it was bigger. Most importantly, it was extremely difficult to pop and activate the heat pack. I squeezed for a long time and was only able to pop 2. I had to order a different one even though I had about 20 unused packs left. Definitely a waste of my money!

Work well, get very hot. They come with a protective sleeve. Sometimes hard to squeeze to activate, so using your heel works.

Not impressed Most packages are punctured, there's liquid in the bottom of the box, white powder throughout the box, and some chunks of what I'm assuming is the crystallized fluid. There are more defective ones than good ones.

They work well but they are small not broken bags would purchase again
