Q: Are replacement pitch pipes availible? If so, where?

They send you two extras in the box. The problem is, a gas stove will melt the handle. There is a metal handle under. I pulled the plastic off and learned to live with it..

Q: Where is this kettle actually made? Trying to buy a kettle not made in China.

Lot of BS out there on where things are made. Bought very expensive kettle from Bugatti, email from company in Italy told me "no doubt made in Italy". Says China in teeny tiny letters on box.

Q: where is this 9091 kettle made? Is the whistl gold plated brass?Pat

I believe the 9091 is still made in Italy. It is stamped Italy on the bottom of the kettle. I do not know the material of the whistle.
