Easy Installation and Excellent Protection for Model Y
I installed these BASENOR Mud Flaps on my Tesla Model Y, and the process was surprisingly easy. The no-drilling design is a major advantage, allowing the mud flaps to be securely installed without modifying the vehicle. They fit the wheel wells well and blend nicely with the factory appearance. After several weeks of driving, they've done a great job minimizing dirt, mud, water spray, and small road debris from reaching the lower body panels. The material feels durable and sturdy enough to handle everyday driving conditions without looking bulky.Pros:-No drilling or permanent modifications required-Custom fit for Tesla Model Y (2020-2024)-Helps protect paint from mud, rocks, and road debris-Clean, OEM-style appearance-Durable material that holds up well in various weather conditions-Installation is straightforward and can be completed quicklyCons:-Installation clips can require a little patience to align properly-Instructions could be more detailed-May slightly reduce ground clearance in deep snow or rough terrainOverall:The BASENOR Mud Flaps are a practical and affordable upgrade for any Tesla Model Y owner. They provide excellent protection, look factory-installed, and are easy to install without drilling. If you're looking to keep your vehicle cleaner and better protected from road debris, these mud flaps are well worth the investment.

Must-have if you drive your Model Y in any sort of snow or road debris conditions
These do fit the Model Y. The item description is a bit confusing because it describes both Model 3 and Y; you just have to choose the Model Y color option.I learned the hard way that the Model Y is very susceptible to paint damage from road debris kicked up by the tires, especially on the body and molding in front of the rear wheels where the fenders bugle out. One road trip through the high desert in Oregon snow left my month-old Model Y with significant paint chips in this area.I've just installed the mud flaps and I'm quite happy. In my opinion they provide a convincing factory look that most people won't even notice. I can't speak to how they'll perform or hold up long-term yet, but I do believe especially the front ones will block a lot of debris and reduce the amount of chips I'll get on the rocker panels and rear fenders. I do plan to also add PPF (clear protective film) to the rear fender area to further reduce the chance for additional chipping here.Installation on the front flaps is super easy, no drilling or screwing is required on the Model Y. Pop two factory clips out, put the flap in place and insert two provided clips. The flap also clips to the fender molding with a built-in fastener and in a second place with a metal toothed clip. The rears are more involved and require popping two factory clips, removing a hand-tightened plastic nut inside the fender well and a 10mm bolt under the rear bumper. Position the rear flap and insert two provided clips, screw the plastic nut and 10mm bolt back on, and insert the metal toothed clip to secure to the fender molding. My only complaint is the built-in fastener that clips to the fender molding on the rear flaps does not like to stay clipped on and therefor you get a slight gap at the top of the flap (see photo). Otherwise the mud flaps fit very well and have nearly no gaps with the body. They also don't feel super durable, and I spotted a couple broken pictures in the reviews, but if they last a year or two I'll be happy and buy another set if need be.

Once installed they're fine. The instructions/video are terrible.
I wish these Chinese accessory companies would pay a little money for some professional videographers. The installation instructions are silent videos with some text which roughly describes what is going on. The comments under the video were more helpful than the video itself. I wish that just once, they'd invest in decent lighting and tell you, for example that you need to install the clips first while you can still get it around the body piece before you bolt everything else down. It would also be helpful if they told you that the side of the clip with the divot in it faces out.The push-pins are more-less permanent once you push them in, so do those last. The video doesn't tell you that. It doesn't tell you anything. If you try to remove them, you'll more than likely have to just destroy them. They include plenty of extras, so that's no big deal. In retrospect, I should have just used the push pins I pulled out in the first place. There are some extra parts, so maybe this same product is good for vehicles other than the Model Y. There are two potential places the clips could go in on the front flaps, they go in the lower slot. The top slot is probably for some other vehicle. The included wrench is darn near worthless. I threw it away. You'll want a 10mm ratchet to remove and reinstall the bolt on the bottom for both rear pieces. So here are the installation instructions I wish they had included:For front flaps:1) Remove the push pins, just flip them out using a flat head screwdriver. Stick it in the little slot on top of the push pin and pry. It only takes a mediumish amount of pressure.2) Install the clip in the lower position. It clips around the body piece. It may help to slightly expand it using a needle nose, but don't do it too much or it won't be as secure. You may need to manipulate it around to get it to fit. These clips didn't install easily for me. The divoted side faces out/flat side goes against the vehicle.3) Stick the push pins into the slot. Done.Rear flaps:1) Same as above, but there's only one clip position.2) You'll need to remove a small 10mm bolt on the bottom. You'll want to throw away the included tool and get a ratchet. If you don't own a ratchet set, go buy one. Every adult needs a ratchet set at some point.3) Again, same as above. Make sure to reinstall the bolt once you've got things clipped back into place.

Love these mud flaps
Installing these was very easy and it has a better fit than I expected. They are nice and tight on the car and they did a good job at preventing dirt and leaves from flying up during this last rainy day.

Quality flaps, sketchy hardware.
They seem good quality, wasn't too tough to install, they fit well, and they look very nice installed. So why 3 stars? Well I tore them up in a winter snowstorm - totally my fault. But when I tried to get the push-pin things out (so I could replace them) the pins just crumbled. Now I have to figure out how to drill the rest of the plastic out so I can replace them. And for my next install I'll be using the quality push-pins I purchased separately!I hope you like yours because you're never getting them off!!

Must buy to protect your car
Keeps rocks , mud and water from hitting side and bottom of car , could be a little more snug. But they do not move out of place on their own , when washing car and wiping them off they move a little bit no concern of falling off while driving . Easy to put on gives a sleek look .

Perfect fit for my 2026 Model 3
These mudflaps are a perfect fit for my 2026 Tesla Model 3. Great quality and a great look. Only took about 15 minutes to get all four of them installed.

Quality made but instructions are not great and front flaps metal clips don’t fit some models
The instructions are not helpful. The video you connect to from the QR tag on the instructions in the box is wrong! It shows putting in the base of the plastic push pin first, then position the mud flaps, and then insert the push pin to lock in place. Doing it that way, the mud flap was incredibly loose and would have never stayed on. Watched some other videos and looked at the pics on their own website and saw the entire push pin unit goes on the outside. Pulled the mud flaps off with my hands (because it wasn’t locked in), inserted the correct way and everything locked in place and is totally secure now. Very strange to link to a bad instruction video!!But the other problem is the metal clamp that is supposed to go on the top of the front flaps. The lip of the 2108 Model 3 is super narrow so the clamp barely goes on halfway. The pic on their website and in the faulty video linked by the QR code shows the clamp slides all the way on. There is definitely something wrong. It will fall off after one drive.I contacted Support and they said the clamp isn’t necessary for some models and to just not use it. Seems like it would be more secure with the clamp but I guess we’ll see. At the very least, they should make it clear in the instructions based on model number when you shouldn’t use the clamp. Would have save a lot of time and confusion!.Once installed properly, they seem pretty solid and are designed to fit the car perfectly. But the instructions are confusing and the clamp to secure the top of the front flaps is useless on some models. We’ll see if they hold up.

Fits Australian December 2023 Model Y RWD
Perfect fit and alignment for 2023 Australian Model Y RWDNo issues installing, only possible issue is no guide marks for rear clips, don't feel as secure as the front ones, might fall off eventually, but the rear flaps feel secure enough as there is a little tab/catch near the top and also the screw cover.

Better than Tesla mudguards
My Model Y was delivered with Tesla mudguards, however they were a bit too long and flimsy. So I ordered these mudguards from Basenor. Much better quality than the Tesla ones. Few instructions, but a YouTube video link is provided showing the ease of installation. All four mudguards were fitted within 15 minutes and fit perfectly. Highly recommended
