Cherry Lane Music Company Best of Metallica for Cello Book/Online Audio

I'm a big Apocalyptica fan on seeing this I had visions of performing iconic songs by Metallica a la apocalyptica style. Unfortunately the tunes are not in the same key and more simplistic. I'm sure I will still give it a whirl. But not what I was expecting.

As you should expect, Metallica's music is intricate! Music is challenging, however, it is a fantastic book and CD. Keep Practicing!! Metallica Rocks especially on a cello!

Fehlende Informationen - Irreführung -ärgerlich !Die Einspielung der Begleitung ist durchaus gut im Arrangement und im Sound. Da könnte Spaß aufkommen, wenn man als Play Along Metallica spielt: ABER !- Es gibt keine Angabe des Schwierigkeitsgrades, weder bei Amazon, noch auf dem Album. Das Album ist sehr leicht gesetzt und benutzt Lagen auf dem Cello, die für einen Vortrag nicht gerade genügend Artikulation und Druck zulassesn. Für Cellisten: eine Oktave höher die Wiederholungen spielen, macht was aus.- Es ist kein reines Play Along Album, denn die Tracks sind nicht 2 mal auf der CD vorhanden dafür. Die Solostimme wird einfach mit abgespielt im Arrangement und dies mit einem Keyboard billigem Cello "Gebrumme" - somit kann man sein Solo nicht frei entfalten und wird entscheidend beim Spielen gestört. Fazit: Für Anfänger, die sich am Sound der guten Begleitung erfreuen und an der unnötigen Einspielung der Solostimme noch "orientieren" müssen.

This was a good product, but it was missing the CD that was said to be in, I didn't ship back because I figured it wasn't my place to just ship back, the missing part should have been shipped with the product in the first place or shipped at a later date.
