Platinum XL Professional Nose and Ear hair trimmer

I decide to give this product a try after becoming dissatisfied with using battery operated trimmers & blunt-ended scissors.It is a very well made product, small & discrete, easy to include with your travel accessories.It did take a couple of attempts to properly co-ordinate positioning & operation of the mechanism, but having done so, I am very pleased with the results. Recommended.

Follow the instructions and this works as stated. The blades of the professional model do appear to cut closer than the regular version. It is expensive, but it’s a quality item that works well. Used properly there’s no pulling or snagging of hairs, just trimming. Works better than the scissors and electric trimmer used in the past which it’s replaced. Used on nose, ear, and fly away eyebrow hair. Recommended.

Premium built quality, easy to use, highly recommend this product as it does exactly what it claims ie no pulling or tugging with a clean close finish. A must have as part of a gents grooming kit!! Can't praise this product enough 😃 one happy Mrs.

Actually bought form my husband. He has tried various ones over the last few years which all started off OK but soon became quite useless. This may not be one of the cheapest but it is good. It seems a little odd at first that it doesn't run on power but he very soon got the hang of it. Easy to clean and works well. What more can I say, a necessary item as age creeps up.

Really handy little tool. You can tell it's quality.

I still haven't overcome the learning curve. I still pull out half the hair because they get caught in the blade mechanism. At least I've learned how to reverse it and back out of a caught hair. I thought I was solving my problems that I had with my electronic trimmers. But I now think that no reliable, durable, easy to use trimmer exists at any price.

Works well, and I greatly prefer it to the electric trimmers I have tried. Only thing to watch out for: Do not move the trimmer into your nose/ ear at the same time as spinning the cutters, as this tends to pull the hairs. Insert the trimmer to a certain depth, then spin the cutter head. Insert deeper, stop, and spin the cutter again.

like the design, the cutting of nose hair ,,,not so good ....doesnt cut smoothly and grabs and pulls the nose hair out ,,,,first time trying it ,,,,the merkur nose hair trimmer i had for 15 years and smooth cutting and doesnt grab or pull hairs... i noticed that the blade is cut at a different angle then the merkur,,,
