Omgosh! I don't know about you, but finding a decent pair of shoes that are also good for walking has been a nightmare for so long! I had been wearing one pair of no support sandals for quite some time just because my other size 11 shoes were too tight for my swollen feet! But nothing in the stores really fit anymore, and I didn't want to break the bank so much by going to a speciality shop! So just kept doing trial and error thing here and there. Pretty much all failures!But recently I have lost some weight and really needed some shoes so I can start working out again and walking as I am able. So I tried again! Googling this and that..carefully reading reviews!But THESE shoes were indeed the winner in EXTRA-wide. I'm not sure I have EVER had a proper pair of fitting shoes like this in my life? Like even when I was thinner? I think my feet have always been on the wide side. Never had a pair of shoes that led me to saying..man, I love these shoes every time I put them on! It's like my feet have been in straight-jackets tennis shows all my life! lolThey may not be suitable for all people, but if you've had my sort of challenges, I strongly suggest trying these out!The appearance is pretty simple, but I am beyond satisfied! Three thumbs up!

Finally, a pair of walking shoes that absolutely are comfortable, cushiony, and totally hug my heel. I would recommend these shoes to women who wear a regular but need very well cushioned heels because of narrow heel size of ankle.

sizing and comfort fitting necessary

I have bought Saucony's for over a decade. I have plantar fasciitis and back problems and these shoes are the only ones that have helped with those issues. Very comfortable.

I normally buy Ryka Devotions which are so comfortable, but bought these on a recommendation from my sister as she said her pair felt like walking in slippers. Totally disagree. The soles are hard and there's not enough cushion for my taste. I walk 4+ miles each day on rural roads and I can feel every imperfection in the road. So disappointed. The fit is perfect and the toe bed is nice and roomy but the overall comfort is lacking. I'll keep them and wear them for now because of the higher price, but won't be purchasing again. I'm wearing thicker socks to make up the difference in no cushioning. It helps somewhat but really not enough to love the shoe.

Love Saucony! The only athletic shoe I’ve worn for years! Good fit. Comfortable. Long-lasting despite being worn every day.
