The best, most opaque student quality Orange you're going to get. I know, I looked. Exact same paint as in their metal tubes. Semi-gloss, doesn't smell. If you like this Orange, try their Vermilion, it's gorgeous.

Grumbacher Academy acrylics are student-grade paints, so I had realistic expectations. But even then, I was surprised and disappointed how low in pigmentation, thin and drippy they are. They lack body, even compared to other budget acrylics like Liquitex Basics, Amsterdam Standard, Pebeo Studio, or Winsor & Newton Galeria. Grumbacher's older metal-tubed Academy acrylics (still available as of early 2017) were better. Their long-discontinued pro-grade Finest acrylics were excellent.I bought Vermillion - it's a reddish-orange color...more orangy than most other brands of Vemillion. But it's become a useful color on my palette - great as the main ingredient for mixing browns and many earthy colors.The prices of these 75ml plastic-tubed Academy acrylics are usually surprisingly high here on amazon. They usually sell for well under $4 in art stores. Even under $4 I don't consider these to be worth buying. On the upside, I like the newer flip-top cap design (no tiny cap to lose), the packaging is attractive and has pigment information, and the Grumbacher website has good information for each of its colors.
