22" Entertainer Home Stainless Steel Chocolate Fountain with Chocolate (3.5 Lbs.)

We had a party of about 35 people and were planning on renting one but they were over $350 so we decided to buy this one instead. Best decision ever! It was a huge hit at the party and it has since been borrowed and used at an after-prom party where 15 teenagers loved it! We will be using this at any party we can! Easy to set up - level the fountain (I do this by eye, add the chocolate and then adjust to make the curtain perfect), preheat the fountain for 10 mins, while melting your chocolate in the microwave, then pour the melted chocolate in, turn on the motor and you are off! The clean-up is a little bit messy but it is after all melted chocolate and totally worth it, and the design makes it as easy as possible. Buy a baby bottle brush to help with cleaning the inside of the fountain - makes it much easier. I have left the fountain running non-stop for over 7 hours and it worked great - no over heating. The key is to use fountain / fondue chocolate as it has the right consistency - when using normal chocolate you have to add in oil and you have the worry of burning out your motor. I got the SF chocolate but Walmart have a god brand too. Dipping ideas - graham crackers, coconut macaroons, Oreos, wafers, caramel bites, candy canes, pineapple, strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, pretzels.

The company is very easy to work with if and the fountain is beautiful if you can get it flowing properly. I tried both dark and white chocolate and the dark chocolate is much better at flowing in the fountain. You can leave it in for hours!

Folllowed the instructions provided. This was purchased for my wife’s 40th birthday party, set this satanic device up 15 minutes before the party started. Melted the chocolate in the microwave per the instructions and poured in to the fountain only to have the fountain vibrate so badly that is flung chocolate in a 360 degree arc in my dining room.Took it to the kitchen pulled it apart and cleaned it out, followed the assembly and setup directions a second time. Shame on me because a split second later my kitchen looked like a chimp had taken its diaper off and decorated my kitchen with its contents.Buyer beware

Was not happy when I read in the manual that I had to add 4 cups of vegetable oil to my chocolate, good quality chocolate, so it would go through the machine.

I used this fountain at my wedding and it was a big hit at the dessert table! I had considered renting a fountain, but to rent a "small industrial" fountain was 3x more than purchasing this one, not including the chocolate and skewers which are conveniently included in this package. In terms of buying your own, this was the tallest fountain available in this price range when I was ordering. We had 70 people at our wedding and there was plenty of chocolate to spare. It was messy fun for the whole family!I think the chocolate would have been a nicer curtain/flow if we had taken the time to level it properly (instructions included), but it flowed well enough for the rush we were in. The chocolate included is good for fountains, so you don't have to mix your own stuff. If you melt your own you MUST make sure it's suitable for fountains! If the chocolate is too heavy (not enough oil) your motor will overheat and break.Dipping Items Used: Pretzels, cubed pound cake/angel food cake, cubed rice crispies, pineapples, bananas, and strawberries. Make sure you pat dry all of the fruit that you serve. If the fruit is too wet, water will get in the chocolate and it will curdle/seize up.

Did not run. Returned for replacement with all product including chocolate for an exchange. New product received with no chocolate supplies.

It's a little noisy, and some extra care is needed to get it properly cleaned but it's worth the money and a fun crowd conversation piece.

The only thing I don't like about this product is just to loud when it's turned on. Chocolates is excellent!
