A good mower.
This cuts really well and has three cutting heights which are achieved by adding or removing the height blocks. The tool for this is supplied. Moving the mower is straightforward enough once plugged in just press the button and hold the trigger handle to keep mowing while pushing the mower in the desired direction. Doesn't feel to heavy or bulky and is also used by a pensioner. It has a grass box that does an excellent job of collecting the grass and is emptied by opening with a simple lift to dispose of the grass in to the garden waste bin. This mower is corded but you get a good amount of cable. Very good mower and has been doing the business for a while now and I expect another successful summers mowing. Recommended if you are looking for a corded hover type mover and these still look good and modern. The storage is a little different to previous designs as the handle can be folded twice for compactness but has an extra screw/knob.

Good mower except for grass collection
The product is very easy to assemble and set the height of the cutting blade. The machine is easy to use it floats on air well. The motor is powerful if a little noisy. I bought it to replace a fly - mo which finally gave up the ghost after 40 years, yes forty years! I use it to cut the stalky grass in the lawn which my cylinder motor mower won’t touch, in this regard it does a perfect job. I have also tried it on some longer grass app 4” which it cut well. However, it does not pick up the grass cuttings well. I would say it picks up less than 50%. Not a problem for me but maybe something to consider if you want a pristine cutting free lawn. The ability to fold the handle to store was an important consideration so when out of use it can be hung on a wall. I would have given it 5 stars but for the grass collection issue. I recall I’m not the first to make this comment.

Good Value
My lawn is larger than average with some areas of quite steep slopes. I had been using a petrol mower for many years but this summer it gave up. After doing some research I found a like for like replacement motor mower would cost me around £450-£500, well outside my budget. However I noticed the Flymo got several good reviews & priced at just over £100 I thought I would chance it. And am I glad I did. Flymo are known for being decent quality & this model is driven by a powerful electric motor. It tackles everything I ask it to, even when grass has got quite long. It glides over the steep slopes with ease, whereas my motor mower kicked up & slid off line making cutting these areas very hard work. Having a power cord is inconvenient for sure, but it comes with a very long lead attached & together with an extension lead I didn't find it a problem at all. Just be careful not to cut through the cable, it happens!! The only fault I have with this model is the grass box container needs a window so you can check how full it is. A minor quibble but one easily solved by having a transparent lid. Down to production costs I suppose. Assembly is very easy, couple of fittings to attach the handle & away you go. I've seen some reviews which criticize the need to fit spacers to the blade attachment to adjust the cutting height. This is a very easy process, I don't see that as a problem at all. Also the spanner required to do this comes supplied with the mower as well. Having a largish lawn I opted for the 36cm width model, but for those with smaller areas the 30 or 33cms width will be more than adequate for the job. I attached 2 of the 3 spacers provided to lower the blade. This gives a very good low cut, leaving a nice tidy finish to the lawn. All in all a very good quality product at a very good price. Lightweight & easy to use. I highly recommned it.

Great light weight and easy to glide mower
Great machine. Its actually very easy yo glide and easy to empty grass. I can't comment on its longevity as I've used it only once yet but it did a pretty impressive job. Highly recommended.

Cuts your grass in twice the time.
Price. Not the cheapest, but not not expensive. Ease of maneuver: It;s heavy, and with a sloping lawn does not glide. Efficiency: A bit rubbish, to be honest. They should sell it with the new slogan I used as a title. compact, though the blades don't cut the edges of the lawn. I recall well the gathering of friends to party while my father was away and in the morning sought to make amends by sweeping all the floors by light of day. The vacuum cleaner had so little power it would take a dozen passes to make clean and that's exactly what this Flymo mower does upon the grass grown long and summer green. The first pass takes a few stalks, it is true, although it takes a hefty strength to push and pull in a repeating motion few would have stamina to beat around the bush. The wire which feeds it power is too short though it does collect the cuttings, as it ought.

It does the work you don’t
Because of arthritis I have found lawn mowers very heavey I am so pleased with this one it’s very light if I had to lift it I could, believe me I have a very large lawn, now I don’t have to do all the work pushing and and struggerling turn it,I can highly recomend this lawn mower to anyone you can easily ajust the hight of the blade there is a good length of cable it leaves the grass neatly cut also an added bonus because it was easy it was quicker, the only down side which only lasted about five minutes was because it was so light I found myself doing a vacumeing motion back and forward so l stopped that quick but it gave me a smile and I am well pleased

Flawed Design
Just arrived this afternoon so a fresh perspective on this mower. Our 13 year old 1300W Compact 300 had become a boneshaker, so noisy and the plastic handle broke yesterday, so time for a replacement. There is very little choice in the hover market at present with only a few models from Flymo and a few unheard of names. I was going to go for the Spear & Jackson, but my research discovered that they lend their name to Argos - say no more. That means they can attach that name to any of their own brand Chinese rubbish. So in the end went for the Flymo Easyglide 360. Despite some negative reviews, there was little option for me so took the plunge. These are my findings: ASSEMBLY: 1) It took me 10 minutes working out how to lift the lid to remove the grass collection box which contained all the bits before I could start the assembly. It doesn't mention how to open it and I couldn't see a way to lift the lid without force. I managed to read some faint words saying "PRESS" on the lid, and so carefully prised in the plastic tongue to release it. 2) Assembly is a bit of a faf, especially being extra careful with the cheap plastic parts, so as not to break any as mentioned in other reviews here. 3) The assembly manual is incorrect, when coming to the handle assembly. They give you three bolt handles - 2 used on one side for the cable storage, of which one is the securing bolt to the lower frame . The other is a different looking one and according to the manual it says attach "if necessary"! Well it is necessary as otherwise you won't be able to bolt the other side of the frame to the lower frame. This wasted 25 minutes re-reading instructions and looking at the mower box to try and work out where it is supposed to go. 4) After use, trying to work out how to fold it is also a nightmare, as if you want to fold the top handle down, you basically have to part undo the 2 main securing bolts to allow the frame to come apart enough that you can fold the frame over. The only issue now, is that if you've already would all the cable onto the clips, you have to take it all off again to undo the bolts. More concerning though, is that once you start to fold the frame over, the black mains cable now gets caught between the frame as the clips you used to hold it onto the frame makes it too tight. So these have to come off and you have to fold the frame whilst making sure to not pinch the cable between the frames! All this is a bit of a nightmare and I can't see me wanting to go through this malarky every time I want to use and put away the mower. USE: So as to use, we have quite bumpy uneven lawns (see picture) , and despite what some of the other reviewers have said, I found it very manoeuvrable - but coming from an underpowered 1300W model that is likely why it is easier for me to use. So a positive on that front. As for the cut, I put on all 3 spacers, as this is what I had on my previous mower and the cut was the same, so no worries there - was pleased with the cut. Now for the bad part - the grass collection - or lack of it. The part that is supposed to suck all the grass up at the rear is extremely poor - it blows more out than it picks up. When I went to put it away and lifted the grass collection bin out, there was hardly any grass in there! Worse, was all the grass had completely covered the motor grid, so I'm surprised there was any suction at all. Conclusion - I'm not really happy with it at all. It is too large, very difficult to store and the performance is woeful as far as grass collection is concerned. I had to get out the leaf blower / mulcher to suck up all the grass as it made a total mess and I should not have to do this. It took me twice as long to mow the lawn. I think this may be going back to Amazon....

Despite the daft handle design, a pleasure to use. Hovers cannot be all thing to all people.
(Many) years ago I worked for Black &Decker when they made hover mowers. Ours was very simple but very robust, made from ABS plastic. My own example gave many years of service. This appears to be mostly polypropylene, which is cheap, light weight, more robust than it looks but its physical appearance will soon deteriorate - glossy finishes are inappropriate for a lawn mower. To hover it requires a powerful motor (which it has) and very light weight (which it is). Forget grass collection, these things mulsh the grass and the principle of operation makes collection inevitably ‘hit and miss’. If it had a sensible size grass box and did collect all the cuttings it would become too heavy to hover! Most complaints concern the change to a metal lower handle. The old moulded - on plastic lower handle could be used to carry the mower, but this one is much longer and so only you people over seven feet tall can now do that. Lucky you. The plastic snap- on bolts are really daft. Mine seem okay at. present but its obvious that the handle has a ‘wrenching’ effect and many of these will snap out as easily as they snap in (see photo). Like another reviewer I will replace mine with proper metal ones, but the plastic bracket supporting them also looks inadequate . The hooks for holding a stowed cable are much too close together and, anyway, if you stow the mower with the handle folded they cannot be used at all. However, just dump the cable in the grass box (photo). Why were the changes made ? Possibly to save money on new tooling for the major plastic moulding. Its not all bad! I am getting very old and have to carry the mower to reach the front garden. Though now rather awkward to lift this is very light and very easy to manoeuvre on the grass in confined spaces. There is a good metal blade and it cuts well - though I need to use all three blade spacers. With no spacer there is no cut! The grass box simply slides in and out. The mower was very cheap to buy - I paid less than £90 which, frankly, is ridiculous value for money. I could have paid even less by buying the model without grassbox. Hovers are for mulching the grass, not collecting it. Despite all the criticism this will doubtless do the job and compared with my six year old (and still serviceable) ‘old’ wheeled mower it is a pleasure to use. Ideally I’d give this mower 3 1/2 stars, but I’m feeling generous today.
