I love this product. I use the dark brown in my part/"upper regions" of my hair and the light brown in the bare areas above my temples so that the transition from my skin, which is very fair, to my hair is not so harsh. My hair is actually medium brown, but I found the medium brown to be a little too warm on me. I think a cooler color, even if it's a little bit darker than my natural hair produces a much more natural look. Besides, roots should be a little bit darker than the rest of your hair. I have medium to even light blond highlights throughout my hair (especially) towards the end, and the dark brown still works beautifully. Not only does this cover my scalp, thereby making my hair look fuller, it actually gives a little "grip" and texture if you bring it slightly into the roots of your hair. I actually apply it with a small cotton ball so that I know I am always using a clean manner of applying the product. This stuff is fantastic, really well-priced, and the seller sent me a few emails with application tips. This product can be used wet or dry, but dry works for me.

The product works pretty well. It stays in fairly well through sweat or water. It doesn't cover quite as thick as the more expensive brands; but I use it every day to either fill in or stretch out the use of the more expensive brands. I'm very satisfied for the price of the product and that it stays in place until you wash it. I wet the applicator and put it on and then use a hair dryer to dry it quickly. Then I just need to style and go.

Review Thicken It Medium Brown for female user. I have Dark Brown Auburn hair, with a very high forehead & receding temples, so I use it along the front. Color is perfect. Depth is perfect (it can be layered to go darker). Size of compact with applicator inside is perfect size for: hands, storage, travel. Price is GREAT! I can use this for thin spots on back or sides, but Age Beautiful Root Touch-Up Med Brown SPRAY is easier. Tried Dermatch: Color was ghastly & dull, compact size is NOT good for hands, storage, travel, & price is exquisitly high. I have tried many product over the last 8 years & I am done searching! Thicken-It is perfect for me!

I was looking for something that would remove the shine off my head. This works well but so would garden dirt. Application is easy, certainly easier that washing your pillow cover everyday which is what you will have to do it you are applying this to the crown. I think the look it provides is fine but it's a daily thing as anything rubbing against it will remove it. Water, such as rain will make it run off. Maybe a spray sealer would protect it better but I would use brown spray paint at that point.

Delivery was very slow, powder doesn’t cover well and applicators fell apart immediately. I wouldn’t recommend this product or the company.

This is a great product. Coverage is perfect. Don’t even need to dab the applicator in water.

After speaking with my hairdresser, they recommended this product. I am so glad I bought it because the one I had before just didn’t cover up the way I liked. This covers bald spots and grey roots very well. lt gives you a lot of control with how to apply it since it comes with a sponge to apply. I will be purchasing more in the future.

Goes on easily and covers well. But a few hours later no coverage, like it fades out. Not worth the money.
