Wow Baking Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie, 8 oz

Great product but now Target carries this brand cookie at half the price, and I had no idea it was available for so much less! I got my first bag of these as a gift last Christmas.

I’ve been buying these cookies for months and loving them, but something changed. I got a package that was the same in every way except the picture of the cookies on the front was noticeably a little darker. I opened it up and something smelled spoiled, like spoiled milk. It was not past the expiration date. I ate one and was out sick from work the next day with intestinal issues. I thought it was a fluke and ordered two more bags the next week - same darker picture, same spoiled smell. Never again.

Tastes fine for a GF cookie, but its a GF cookie.

These are amazing. Maybe too amazing. Soft and sort of tastes like eating cookie dough. These are small--1-2 bite sized. It's easy to clear a bag, unfortunately. The bag is not all that big--about 8 ounces, amounting to 16'ish small cookies. Which makes the price here outrageous, which is more the point of my review. Don't buy them here, I never have. They are four dollars at Target, 5% less plus free shipping if you have Red Card. I keep a stash of these for my GF son at his school in case a birthday party happens and he'd otherwise be left out of the treats. I told the teachers to try them. Now they are all mad at me, haha. Universal response: "Those are so amazing for GF!" If portion control is an issue for you, you've been warned. Same warning goes for the Simple Mills crackers. Oh my word, soooo good. Check those out.

I was served these when I was in the hospital. WOW! I didn't believe they were gluten free even though the girl promised. My first bite, even thought they're slightly puffier, I thought they were the entenmans that were always my favorite. I asked her to find the brand because I had to buy them. If you like soft and chewy, these are heaven. So good that my gluten eating Mom loved them and also said they were just like the entenmans. I know she wasn't lying because she asked for more! The best gluten free foods are the ones that other people can't even tell. My new favorite brand.
