SPECSTAR Pneumatic Air Hydraulic Bottle Jack with Manual Hand Pump 20 Ton Heavy Duty Auto Truck Travel Trailer Repair Lift Red

I purchased this jack to specifically replace the 20 ton bottle jack on my Harbor Freight 20 Ton hydraulic press. In terms of the jack and the functionality, it works well. It is a bit taller than the original jack, so installing it with the springs on the press did take some doing. I removed one of the springs after loosening up the carriage bolts as much as possible, and then allowed the press carriage to drop on one side. From there, I removed the old jack and installed the new one, and then used a toe jack to raise the carriage back to level and then a bit more than level so that I could reinstall the spring I disconnected. I then replaced the OEM hose with a longer 6' Goodyear hose, connected it to a 2-way pneumatic pedal, and installed a 3' Goodyear hose with a quick connect. I also moved the origional air control valve from the old hose to the new one and installd a quick coupler on the pedal. I did this so that I could use the jack with the pedal or disconnect it from the pedal and use it like it was originally designed. It works perfectly in this configuration, since the origional control valve has a bail to hold the valve open which I use when connected to the pedal. The only dings I'd give the jack is the condition in which it arrived. The bail on the control valve had been ripped out during shipping, so I had to put that back together as best I could. Also the jack showed a lot of signs of paint chipping. Make no mistake, this is not a fancy jack. Additionally, the handle it comes with is of poor quality IMO. The handle that came with the press was far better. Anyhow, for my needs, it does what I wanted. For that, I'm giving it 5 stars. If I was just using it as it came as a normal jack, i'd probably rate it 3.5-4 stars, since I'd have to use that less than ideal jack handle.

If you need a hydraulic jack, these things are awesome. It was so good. I bought two and they helped me lift my container up and my truck and my tractor worth the money.

Perfect air over hydraulic jack for the harbor freight 20T press! Seems like it will last a while.

Bled as instructions stated. Very slow to raise 16.5 thousand pounds. Ended up using hand pump which operates fine. Then pump saved while in support. Bled again and now will not raise with compressor. Hand pump still works. Will begin return.

The jack worked and seemed just like every other 20 ton jack with a air compressor connection. Unfortunately it was damaged in shipping. Overall I appreciate how it all played out and I’m sure these jacks are good quality if not damaged in shipping.

My 20-ton shop press came with a manual hydraulic jack which took forever to pump up by hand pushing up and down. I have a 30-gallon air compressor connected to this 20-ton air jack and it jacks up really fast. It saved me a lot of time and effort. I didn't have to do anything as it was just ready to be used out of the box. It is extremely heavy for 1 person. I am 215 lbs powerlifter and had to get an extra set of hand to help to install on my shop press because the springs to hold it down was extremely difficult. This air jack is heavy! Not for the faint of heart.

So far the most reliable Jacks I have purchased. We use these weekly in jacking up large scale renovations.
