Q: whats the difference between this and your 38.00 mailbox ?

Hi there! This is actually the same mailbox as the Franklin (FM110B00) mailbox but this kit includes a matching post for a convenient all-in-one solution. Hope that helps!

Q: What is the installation required? Can you just push the stakes into the ground? Is it stable?

It comes in multiple pieces that you just slide together, and I believe the box itself is mounted on the stand with bolts. It's pretty easy to put together. I used concrete for mine to make sure it didn't fall over at any point as I live in a very wet area so I can confirm if it will stay by itself
