Brilliant book
This is an absolutely brilliant book for athletes (of all types) and sporty people. It clearly and relatively simply explains food as a source of energy and nutrients, and how that interacts with the physiology of exercise. Regardless of whether you are a vegetarian, vegan, omnivore etc, the book has relevance for anyone trying to understand how the food you ingest affects daily life, and sporting achievements. All claims and data are backed up by referenced studies for those who want 'the evidence', or are flagged as being current areas of research interest. A fantastic book, highly recommended as a 'must have' for all sports people.

Must Have for Vegetarian Athletes
Incredibly strong book. Most of the "vegetarian" books are usually based on fluff and spiritual beliefs but this one focuses on the science and really helps you plan your nutrition.
