⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Helpful During Recovery I ordered these gel ice packs after rotator cuff surgery and ended up using them several times a day during the first few weeks of recovery. The shape fit my shoulder reasonably well, and the flexibility of the gel allowed the pack to conform better than a standard ice pack straight out of the freezer. The cold lasted long enough for my typical icing sessions, and the pack remained pliable instead of becoming rock hard. I also appreciated that the material felt durable and didn’t leak, even after repeated freezing and thawing. My main complaint is that I found myself waiting for the pack to refreeze between uses. If you’re icing frequently during recovery, you may want more than one pack so you can rotate them throughout the day. The included strap helped keep the pack in place, although I occasionally had to readjust it to get the coverage exactly where I wanted it. Overall, these ice packs became one of the items I reached for most often during recovery. While they’re not a replacement for a dedicated cold therapy machine, they provided convenient and effective cold therapy when I needed it.

I have a SLAP tear that progressed to needing surgery and the pain level is rapidly increasing while I wait for my surgery date to the point that icing and heating are now routine parts of my day. I like this style of wrap because it can be used both warm and cold, it already has a soft body side liner so there isn't a need to find a towel to go under it, and it's easier to secure then a regular pack. But... it has it's limitations. First off, the arm attachement band is only secured at one point which makes it really hard to use single handed when it keeps sliding off the back side. Second, the place my body most needs the pad to cover is right where the cutout is. Third, the arm wrap isn't where I need cold or heat but without it attached there it doesn't stay put on the actual shoulder, so for my particular use it would be nicer to be able to remove the gel at the arm location.

Not sure what the problem is with this ice pack but it will not lay on the top of my shoulder. As you can see from the photos it sticks up and doesn't even touch the top of my shoulder to ice it. I sticks up high enough that I can stick my hand under it. When I try pulling it closer to my neck it gets worse. It is either too small for me, has too much gel across the shoulder part (very stiff) or just not designed correctly. I was hoping for one more like the one I use at physical therapy. I'm sure theirs are a lot more expensive but I expected an ice pack that at least fit over my shoulder for the money I spent on this one. Whatever the case, it did not work for me because I need to ice the top of my shoulder due to rotator cuff surgery.... so am sending it back. As far as how well it is made I cannot attest to that because I only gave it a few tries and found it very uncomfortable and useless. Very disappointed because I really need a good shoulder ice pack and I need it now. I will be ordering a different one but will do more research. I must say I was shocked at how many good reviews this one had and not one review mentioned this issue with this one.

I did not expect to receive 2 units one each for heat and cold. I use it regularly and fits very well. From a design perspective I cannot add anything. However, the cold ice pack is good enough for about 25 minutes. I can increase the time by either using it directly to my skin, or I can easily insert a smaller ice pack that can be held within its fold. I think the price point is excellent. Very convenient also.

I had Bicep Tendonesis surgery and I wanted to make sure I found something that’ll go around my arm and not be a hard brick like I seen a lot of other ice packs online. You gotta be careful for that. This one does not get hard like a brick otherwise I’d use it for my lunchbox lol but no, it’s soft when you pull it out of the freezer and flexible. I noticed some other reviews on many products say something about condensation ice buildup and you have to realize that when you pull something freezing cold out of the freezer that condensation naturally will build up on it due to the temperature of the product and the temperature of the air in the room. Then when you put it back in the freezer, the condensation will obviously freeze on the exterior - it’s just common sense but it seems like people lack it. Anyway, it’s good gets the job done but unfortunately, I’m a baby and I can’t move my arm much so I just put it on top of it. I don’t wrap it around.

So happy with this product, tore my rotator cuff and needed the ice pack for pain relief. I’m smaller in stature yet I was able to attach it perfectly to my shoulder. Big thumbs up!

Bien mais difficile à enfiler tout seul. Il faut fort serrer la poche de glace sans quoi elle glisse et se place mal.
