This is my second plums reel. They are super smooth and cast great. Seems tough enough!

This is advertised as a high speed high gear ratio reel, but the retrieval speed is the same as other models, it is also poorly designed, the bail distance to the rod is so close it constantly smacks my knuckles while retrieving.. and the handles design hurts to use it also has the seam where they attached the rubber on the handle and it constantly was cutting my hand. I bought this reel for steelhead, the only good thing I found about this reel is the drag is somewhat smooth, not great, but not bad.

This seems to be a quality reel has great retrieve speed my reason for giving it 3 stars is twice I have had my braid drop below the spool and get wound up under the bottom of the spool I had to remove the spool to unwind line that rapped around the main shaft of the reel the spool skirt could possibly be a little longer at the bottom sideto cure this issue that being said the fishing line Is new so hopefully when broke in it will stop
