Top notch thread. I have used Simthread before, and it seems even better. 32000 stitches and not a break. None. The new lock to keep the spool in place, I didnt have any issues with the old one but there is really nothing to improve. I am really happy with the price and the quality. The color variety are the ones I use the most, and the shades are very nice for my go tos. The pink is a gentle pink without being too light and the blue is a good standard baby blue. The gold is fabulous.

The Simthread 12 Brother Colors in Huge 5000M spools is an amazing value. It stitches out so well in my Brother PE800 that I no longer want to use other threads. The colors are vibrant and glossy and add a professional look to my stitched out designs. I was especially happy to find these assortments of my most used colors in these Huge economy spools. My compliments for putting the thread hook in the bottom of the cone to prevent tangled threads. Simthread listens to the needs of it's customers and responds. Thanks Simthread for adding many colors in 5000m spools to your product line.

Ordered the huge spool to assure I wouldn’t run out of thread, especially while doing the FSL project shown here. An OESD doily pattern with 72254 stitches! I recently bought a Solaris and I had read where some choose only to use expensive thread in their machine, and wanted to see how the machine would handle Simthread. Origonal plan was to stitch out in one sitting but circumstances prevented that. 2 sittings and doily was done. No thread breakage. Color and sheen is beautiful, and it starched well. Ready for gift giving. My Solaris definitely likes Simthread.

These spools are amazingly huge! As a hobbyist I will probably never see the end of the spool! Assortment 1 and 2 are all on the color wheel that corresponds to the brother colors. Assortment 3 are just beautiful pastels! The locking notch on the bottom on the spools is a win! Will help keep the spool from coming unwound during storage. And if you have a single needle machine like mine, they aren’t made for these huge spools, meh! Fear not just get a thread spool holder and you will be fine! Just follow my vid see how I have the thread path flowing so there is no tension issues. Best part yet: I’ve yet to have zero breakage! 100% flow no problems!! I’m tempted to take these spools to my mid-arm and test them out on free motion quilting!

Overall I'm happy with the thread. My brother machine likes the thread. The silver I really like the sparkle on it, it's almost like metallic thread. The downside were the bobbins that came with. They were broken and I didn't realize so just reaching into the box and getting cut was not pleasant.

I used this thread on my Janome embroidery machine. I love the colors and the thread has a beautiful shine to it....It embroidered great with no thread breaks or thread looping. Will definitely be buying more in a variety of colors.

Love everything about this thread. The colors are vibrant and wash very well. They stitch out beautifully and I always get great compliments on the projects done with Smithread. I don't have problems with breaking or fraying. I highly recommend this product.
