These are NOT Chocolate Rocks but are Licorice-Flavored Chewies
This product does not meet those amazon.com standards upon which I have developed a trust. It's a pity that my $25.49 has been wasted on an item I don't like and I can't return. I'm still questioning how I misread what little information is given............Product Features: Mini Candy Rocks made of candy. Soft chewy center with jelly beans like candy shell. Approximately 70 pcs per pound. Please notice that the Product Description block is blank. Hmmmm. Could the lack of a description be a deliberate mislead? The package arrived three days after my order was placed, and the only information on the plastic bag's little white paper sticker (1" X 2 1/4") is the bar code, and the words "Candy Rocks - Pebbles 5LB Bag." On the bag's back side is a black, badly-faded ink stamp (this is a CLEAR plastic bag containing dark-mottled candy) that says "Nutrition Fact." However, whatever the rest of the "message" is illegible.Isn't there a federal law requiring a proper label showing ingredient listings and indicating a product is safe and wholesome? Yes, there is. "The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is responsible for assuring that foods sold in the United States are safe, wholesome and properly labeled. This applies to foods produced domestically, as well as foods from foreign countries. The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) and the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act are the Federal laws governing food products under FDA's jurisdiction." [...]Amazon.com needs more scrutiny with its associate vendors and clean up its act.

Soft rocks
These jelly beans were so good tasting and I'm not normally a jelly bean fan. They were much bigger in size than a regular jelly bean which was great for my rock themed display. Not many left as they tasted so good. Smooth texture and appeared to look just like rocks!!

A different look with lots of great flavors
I buy an assortment of candy for my Mom as she is for the most part home bound. At 92 she no longer drives so I have different things sent to her from week to week. She likes that these were a different type of jelly bean with super flavors. It is the little things that makes the biggest difference. It makes my Mom happy and that is what makes me happy. ;-)

flavorless
I thought these would taste like the spiced candy pebbles from my youth. They do not. These taste like sugar with no other flavor.

Old Favorite, Newly Mysterious
These are just as tasty and as pretty as I recall from childhood; however, I am not giving a top rating due to worrisome packaging. Specifically, the candy was in a flimsy plastic bag with absolutely no labeling whatsoever. No ingredients, no country of origin, nothing; and the bag was torn at the top, to boot. The candy was rolling around loose in the cardboard carton. I am not certain it is legal to sell foodstuffs in the U.S. without labeling. I would not order these again for lack of knowing where they came from and if hygienic conditions were met during manufacture and packaging.

Purchased for a gingerbread house
I was looking for pebbled walkway material for our gingerbread houses and opted to buy these "pebbles". The truth of the matter was I didn't really care how they tasted because I never eat the houses. They make the house smell like Christmas and are charming to use as decorations. These are nothing like the pebbles I've seen but will work more as boulders. My only complaint is that they were packaged in a plastic bag that looks like it was old. The bag was cloudy. The stones look good, and I didn't hate the flavor. At my age, though, food has to be fantastic for me to consume the calories. Jelly bean anything would never make the cut.

Air them out
The initial smell of concentrated food dye is rough, but once they aired out, absolutely delicious
