Really great entertainment. If you find challenging to follow the Japanese instructions, there is an you tube video explaining it step-by-step - super handy.

This is the third kit I've built from Billy Dollhouse. They have a lot of details and leave room for using your imagination to change and add things if you want to. The instructions are in Japanese but there are great videos on YouTube that walk you through the build. If you have experience building miniatures I highly recommend these kits.

This is a highly detailed and amazing kit. Not made to be the first kit attempted in the series! Making the food from scratch was an added challenge - it took 3 weeks to complete the kit from start to finish.

I enjoyed itBut instructions is not really good

The materials inside were high quality with much less paper and more wood than some other kits I have made. There are lots of little details, many of which would not even be easily observable which nonetheless adds to the charm and realism. It was also easy to modify and customize certain features like lights and using fabric rather than paper for the noren hanging in the front. The result is so charming that I have plans to build a “street” of these shops for a bookshelf in my study.I have only just started making these miniatures as a digital break as I WFH in quarantine. This is my second project and I was first discouraged by there being no English instructions, nor could I find any online. However, there were some YouTube builds I followed. The kit is pretty intuitive and relatively easy to build with attention to detail and patience. The pieces being made out of wood and other more solid materials were more forgiving as well than the room I made before where many items were actually paper.
