This is a neat little amplifier. For some reason, I thought that this would be double as a headphone amplifier, but it doesn’t. I likely misunderstood something about this amp in its description, but that’s fine. I happened to have an old speaker lying around the house, so that I could test it out. It works, but be aware that it isn’t the most powerful amp on the market. If you have some expensive speakers, you probably will want a more powerful amp. This one is designed for portability and even car use, but I’m unsure how to connect it to a car stereo.This amp feels sturdy enough to (maybe) survive a few drops if you’re the clumsy type. Although, the knobs are made of plastic and they feel a bit cheap. The body is made of a tough metal, but I’m not sure if it’s aluminum. It could be, but it feels a bit tougher. The metal includes mounting points for screws if you want to mount it vertically.To connect it to speakers, you’ll need ones that come with the red and black wires. Like I said before, I didn’t know this coming into the purchase; luckily I had some lying around. For input, you can use the 3.5mm jack, or composite audio cables.For this cheap price, I can recommend these to you if you’re looking for some extra power out of your speakers. I would not, however, recommend them to an audiophile.I purchased these at a discounted price in exchange for a review. Rest assured, it didn’t affect my review in any way.
