Govee Bluetooth Indoor Outdoor Thermometer, Digital Wireless Weather Hygrometer Humidity with App Notifications, 4.5-Inch Large LCD Touchscreen with Backlight, 2-Year Data Storage

After about a year and a half Bluetooth stopped working. Contacted them via the app 6/25/2023. They said to expect a replacement, so far no replacement seen, no notification.Seems they are no longer available.

This is a good thermostat works great. Yes I did get the flashing screen, which I contacted Govee about and got a replacement. But I was still interested why it started to flash even tho It didn’t really bother me because I use both F and C for temperature. It came down to this after testing with muli meter, the sensors inside wasn’t getting enough power. So I changed the batteries and reset the channels and wala it was working again. Even tho the batteries are somewhat still good, they need to be replaced as soon as 1-2 bars go down. I still end up using the used batteries for my kids toys. Hope this help.

I bought this so that I could track the temp in my greenhouse at night without having to go outside and freeze in the wee hours. With the app, I am able to view the temperature trend overnight to see what the outside lows were this spring. Compared to the manual thermometer I have in my greenhouse, I would say this is accurate about 90% of the time. It definitely is for the inside temperature. I did calibrate it so I'm not sure why the exterior temperature is off some times. I do wish the outside thermometer was more weatherproof. That is a downside. It cannot be in direct rain. So I could not use it to see what the outside weather is as I do not have any areas fully protected from rain other than inside my greenhouse. Overall, it did what I needed it to do.

I installed my Govee Thermometer in an enclosed turtle habitat 10 mos after the original purchase date because of some construction delays with the habitat. Once installed, it operated fine for 3 mos but then it began losing the connection with the outside sensor. I sent an email to Customer Service describing my problem and immediately received a reply indicating I would be contacted within a day or so. The following day I was contacted by Customer Service and it was resolved (by them) to send me a complete replacement unit even though I was now beyond the 1-YR warranty period. I'm up and running again and I'm very pleased with the product and ease of use! Thank you to Govee's Customer Service for their quick response and handling it the way they did.

The product is great for what it does but it does not do what I thought it would. Set up was easy. The thermometer is in my greenhouse with my orchids. The display is on my nightstand and is easy to read, even in the dark. However, using it with the app is pretty much useless. It only displays the current temperature if you’re in the same Wi-Fi network, which doesn’t really help me because I can just go look at the display on my nightstand. I was HOPING I would get current temps when I was away from my house so I’d know when I needed to turn the heater on or off. Doesn’t do that. It also doesn’t give you notifications when temps get above or below the minimum and maximum temps that you set in the app. I have everything turned on for notifications but haven’t gotten any, even though I should have. So for me, this item is meh…. 🫤

Like all Govee products set up is a breeze. The outdoor and indoor modules synch quickly and the Bluetooth setup with my phone was a breeze too. The indoor temperate of accurate enough. I found it to be about 3 degrees off from actual indoor temperature but it's easy to go into the app and adjust the temperature to gain more accuracy. I've not found the outdoor temperature to be consistently accurate even after adjusting within the app. Out of the box, the outdoor temperature was 7 degrees warmer than the "real" outdoor temperature. I adjusted as much as I could and am now within about 4 degrees of outdoor temperature. That's decent but not great and that's why the 3 star rating,

I purchased the indoor/outdoor version so I could monitor the indoor and outdoor temperatures. The monitor display both just fine. I was hoping the app would display both indoor and outdoor values on the same graph, but you have to back out of one graph to get see the other graph

It reads the temperature just fine, its easy to read on the screen, the touch screen is decent, its accurate, but don't get the Bluetooth version! It takes a long time to load, its slow to update, and its easier to just get up and look at the screen than wait 5+ minutes for it to load on the device. If you close the app (after downloading all the information, it still takes an additional 3-4 minutes to load again.) Get the WiFi version, Bluetooth isn't worth the time.
