Works great
This is as described and works well with other blocks. Easy to turn on and off for the kids and easy to assemble. It appears to be durable as it’s already survived a few throws

Fun set!
The set is great and the kids were really excited but despite arriving fully packaged, there were items missing like a door for one of the buildings and a train horn. The kids didn’t notice but it bothers me that for the price, we didn’t receive all of the pieces. They had a great time playing with the set. The tracks are tricky to put together and it is hard to figure out how to make the suggested track configurations because there are no straight pieces; they all curve. My kids are also not bothered by the fact that the people don’t fit well into the train - they just try to bend their legs and stuff them in.*** Update - the seller contacted me and graciously offered to ship us a complete new set! Much appreciated and great customer service!

Great alternative to lego duplos
I will tell you they are NOT lego duplos, but they are not far off I can easily pick these out of the legos but the kids don’t know the difference, they work great with the duplos and they are more then half the cost we have 2 sets of these now and my boys play with them constantly. One train came not working and was replaced without a problem. If you don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on a lego train set this is a great alternative. I gave 4/5 ⭐️ Because the quality could be a little better but for the price it’s definitely not a big deal.

Value for money and kids loved it!
from seller Frugalist:Dear Michelle,I noticed that you left us positive feedback and would like to personally thank you! It really means a lot to a small business like ours.'Seller Feedback' is different than a 'Product Review'. And since you wrote highly of our product, I would like to ask if you can please copy/paste your review on the product listing as well. The following is the feedback that you left: "This was fantastic!! My grandson played with this train all day!! He carried it around outside. I thought he was going to break it ! It fell off furniture outside on the cement! Still worked great. My sons had the Duplo version and it didn’t have a track and the sides broke. Great design!!! Would buy again!!"

Cheep knockoff. Not worth it
I bought this because of the great reviews and honestly, I don’t know how it got so many. It doesn’t compare to real duplos. The plastic is thin and cheep and the shape isn’t quite perfect on a lot of the pieces preventing them from fitting well. The tracks don’t hold together very tightly so its very easy for my toddler to knock them apart and he is more careful than most kids his age. The train feels like it would break the first time a kid puts any kind of pressure on it and doesn’t automatically stop when lifted off the track like it’s competitor. It also constantly gets stuck due to some of the tracks being warped. The wheels on the train cars are on thin metal pin axles and slide side to side causing them to come off the track frequently. I didn’t feel like this would hold up so I returned it after one day. Overall I’m very disappointed. It’s worth the money to get the name brand train set.

Just get the LEGO version
There’s a reason this is half the cost of the LEGO version. It is very cheaply made. The plastic actually bent when trying to disassemble the railroad tracks after one use. Returning it and paying the extra $ for the LEGO one because I want it to last more than one day.

Engaging and perfect for little hands
My 2-yr-old daughter loves trying to assemble this (she needs a little help). It's definitely fun watching her go through the pieces and try to fit the track together. She really likes the little people, although she's not fully committed to watching the train run yet. This definitely seems like a toy that will last and that she'll stay interested in for a while, which is something that I worry about because toddlers seem to outgrow toys so quickly. Overall a great experience, everything arrived on-time and in great condition.

kids lost interest pretty quickly
by the time I realized how disinterested the kids became after a short time, too late to return
