They do not clip in as smooth or as easy as my last set of bike cleats.

Product was as advertised. However these cleats clipped into my pedals much more strongly than the pair that I removed. When I came to my first stop while riding I couldn't unclip either foot, so I promptly keeled over onto the road :-( Luckily only minor damage to my knee. I rode back home and adjusted the pedals to the minimum tension setting. Then I practiced clipping and unclipping several times when I stopped by holding onto my parked car in the driveway. Eventually I got them working well enough to take my real bike ride.

These are almost exact replacement for the shimano spd’s. A bit tighter as others say. on first ride it took a little extra twist to release. After 2-3 rides they are perfect. In fact I like a bit tighter fit. Would buy again

They were hard to un-click on the first few rides. You could still click out, but a little extra force was needed. They soon broke in and have worked great every since. They seem to be holding up really well, going on 5 months. I ride about four times per week. I plan to buy again if the price remains lower.

I have bought a couple of these non-shimano cleats. These are a better quality than others. The plastic is clean and molded well meaning no extra plastic hanging off. I have been using these for a few weeks commuting to work and the cleats are holding up well.

Like some others have mentioned, these cleats fit pretty tightly in Shimano pedals. I found that just a little bit of sanding on the front edge made them fit much better and allowed me to clip out with the same amount of effort as genuine Shimano cleats.

Putting side by side with Shimano yellows these must come from the same injection mold because the measurements are indistinguishable. Even the color of the yellow plastic is an exact match. Not surprisingly, they engage and disengage equally well.The only slight difference I noted between these and the Shimano is the hardware. The measurements are the same. However, the Shimano washers and bolts are chrome plated whereas these just have a brushed appearance to them. Whether that amounts to a significant difference in corrosion resistance, who knows? The reality is that the hardware can be reused many times so I just put the Shimano washers and bolts back in there. Don't forget to add either thread lock or grease to the threads.

Bought these cleats as they have good reviews and were a few pounds cheaper than the OEM Shimano. Upon installing them in my shoes, lucky me I decided to try them on my trainer first before taking them for a ride. They locked really tight and could not be unclip. I then reduced the pedal spring tension to the lowest and still they were very hard to unclip. Had I tried them out on my bike, they would have caused an accident. They look in appearance identical to the Shimano one but functionally they aren’t, at least the ones I got.

Wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing a cheaper alternative to save some pennies. Unable to clip out😭 really scared me. Thankfully my husband caught me otherwise could of caused myself a serious accident. Will never buy a cheaper alternative again.

Might look like the usual cleats I buy but way too tight and nearly impossible to decleat as I found out at the first roundabout. Persisted for 10 miles but ended up cycling the reverse journey without clipping in - won’t be buying again - could have caused a serious accident.

Potentially dangerous due to poor fit. I used these once and have returned them and this is quite a common issue in reviews. The set that I received are far too tight even on the lowest pedal tightness setting and I am 95kg and a experienced cyclist. I assumed they might loosen up a bit but after a couple of scary moments on my second ride with them and lots of effort to loosen them they have to go.
